Lily managed to finish her report quickly, actually learning a few things along the way. Yet, what came to mind was that the old stories and legends were wrong.

Owen quickly became absolutely unbearable. Every word he had to say was about Danny, but he seemed totally clueless about the aura of the school.

Clara transferred schools, there was a lot of suspicion in Te school, but surprisingly Lily seemed to have made the talk to list.

What hadn't left her mind was doomsday, the day was close.

Jace had joined the lunch group, Lily, Owen and now Jace. The three weren't the typical group, two supernatural creatures and a human imprinted by a demon.

Along with Jace came his girlfriend Jen. Lily instantly disliked her. Not only because she wasn't human, but because she was Sana's Bestfriend and had a weird habit of taking notes at lunch.

Lily studied the girl closely, trying to see what her real motive was.

The unease didn't subside.

Lily looked at her feet as she walked alone. The moon was bright and clear, the cool almost too cold air was freezing in her lungs and the stars were shining.

Lily smiled big as she left behind her worries for one night. Well, she tried.

"Ow ow ow ow ow." She muttered quietly as she tried to move her arm.

A very warm thing grabbed her wrist and tugged. She was on her feet and in a car within a second.

"Don't scream." A voice commanded. Lily stilled.

"The fuck is going on?" She demanded, her eyes adjusting to the darkness.

"We've been looking for you, Lilith Alexis."

"What the fuck does that mean?" She cried, feeling slightly scared as she saw her town sign telling her to have a bright day and enjoy her travels. Seriously?

"You are the Mutt, and we are here to make sure you win your fight."

"Its not my fight."

"You are the Mutt, you are involved, and you . . . Well, let's get you to the base and I can explain it there."

"Explain to the pissy werewolf before I got rabid on your ass and bite." She snarled.

"I will tranq you before you can say what." He warned.

"Warning received, now spill."

"Be patient, you will learn."

"Patience was never my strong po. . . Is that a dragon?" She asked, feeling dread in her stomach.

"Fuck." He shouted. "Get down, and don't move."

"Stew, get us out of here!" The boy shouted.

"Zane, I am working on that, guard the girl."

"Why do you never listen?!" Zane shouted at her as she sat up off the floor of the van she sat in.

"Never trained. Why is there a dragon out there?!"

"He's trying to throw off the balance. Kill the healer, end the world."

"Oh, that would be me." She said. "Thats not good."

"Sit down!" Zane roared.

Lily stood up taller on her knees, her eyes seeing the sharp wings and the beady eyes. One sharp shattering sound filled the air as he took off.

"One more thing." Stew muttered from the drivers seat.

"Not now."

"Your supposed to kill your sister." Lily stared at him and then she laughed.

You have got to be fucking kidding me.
