Three days passed. The battle was in two, and Lily couldn't help the shaking in her hands.

She didn't know what to do, or even more how to save Riven and keep her life.

Danny had gone missing, her mom called Lily screaming hoping her daughter was there. There was a missing persons report out on her.

Riven had also gone missing, though the text hadn't reached the police force for whatever reason, the tightening in her gut made it more apparent.

Owen was a wreck, his thoughts murderous and out of control. Jace had actually stood up to him, and Owen now couldnt focus without his new best friend.

In a way, it made her feel better as the clues came together. Zane had been called back to his base in Texas to gather, supplies. He wouldn't say where, or how long he would be gone, or what he had to get. Lily refused to dwell too much on the questions in her mind.

Lily sighed deeply as her options ran through her mind.

There was no getting out of it.

Owen reached her house at seven. She met him and climbed inside the car. It was quiet, deathly so, as the car sped out of the city limits and into the farming community outside town.

Lily blinked as the last image of her home came to mind. Her pets sleeping on her bed, and the note in the center. Simple really.

'Be back soon! Love you, Me.'

"You ready?"

"Yeah, it's not like there's any danger for me." Lily said. "You?"

"No." She reached over and squeezed his hand, before she let it go.

It felt so quick, like there was no time to really live with the events happening. But it had been a month, not enough time.

He pulled to a park in a parking lot. The yellow tape around the entrance gates said not to enter. Owen pulled free a pocket knife and sliced the tape.

There was an eerie wind that got louder as they walked closer.

This feeling, almost a scent made her freeze.

"My 'twin' eh?" Lily closed her eyes as the feeling of absolute disgust filled her.

"Damn it, Dannielle." She snarled.
