Lily didn't even pay any mind to her 'sister'. She turned on her heel, and slammed her leg into the hallow tree trunk. Werewolves have to have some kind of power.

Open, open, open up already! She begged in her mind.

The tree hadn't budged, but it simply opened. It cracked and creaked and suddenly Riven fell out, his face black with soot and his skin red with heat. He coughed and gaged but otherwise was alive.

It fell, the tree fell and little maggets crawled around at the base of the trunk.

Farewell, princess.

"Did you hear something?" Danny asked.

"No." Yes. "Ready?"

"So polite even when your about to die?"

"Whatever." Lily said.

It didn't take long, circling each other for Lily to turn tail and run. Back toward the boys, away from the innocent human and the confusing talking tree.

"Get back here!" Lily knew it wasn't far, and she knew Owen had the best chance to win. What she didn't see coming was another girl that looked just uncanny alike to her.

Even more so, to be holding the knife to the base of Owen's neck while he had Drake at sword point at the base of another tree.

Distracted as she was, she obviously didn't see the annoyed brunette running at her until the last second.

The knife in her hand turn to defend herself as Lily connected with her.

The pinch in her stomach told her what had happened even as the adrenalin took away any sense of pain. Sunday's head connected with the ground, the way her eyes fluttered closed told her the concussion was definately going to be a bitch in the morning.

She pushed herself up, and stood on her knees, taking in the scene around her.

Owen was wrenching the sword free of his opponents body and Lily watched as the body turned black before fading away. Something dark and red was left on the ground but she didn't bother to study it.

Zane was trying to sit up and shake his head at the same time, managing to dizzy himself and fall back.

Danny stood at the edge, her eyes wide in pain and shame as she realized what she'd done.

Her hands were raised in Lily's direction, and then Liky felt the blistering pain in her back and the agony of the knife in her gut.

"LILY!" Her eyes fluttered closed and she slumped to the side, her head connected with the tree beside her, and that was the last she knew.
