Chapter 6: High on drugs

Eventually, I had gotten over the "Noah is your match" shock and calmed myself down.

You know, I must have had real bad karma in my past life if all that happens now is shizz.

Muttering under my neath, I hunched my shoulders and walked to first period. This would be the first time I'd ever be late and it would be all because of Noah.

Damn it! He's already ruining my life.

I brushed my hand through my hair and knocked on the door, crossing my fingers, hoping Miss. Tatter wouldn't throw a fit. I'd never really seen her smile, but then again; she was a sixty year old, unmarried, high school history teacher with 12 cats.

"Miss. Ford" her shrill voice came.

Cringing I furrowed my eyebrows and knit my fingers together staring at my tattered ballet flats- hmm, I really need to go shopping sometime.

"Your late Miss. Ford, I expected much better from you. Detention after school till 5pm" My head snapped up as I opened my mouth only to see her glaring daggers and shaking her head challenging me to retort.

It's not worth having my ears bleed.

Breathing violently through my nose I took my seat, feeling the steam evaporate out my ears. I laid my forehead on the table, eyes closed as I worked on organising my thoughts- muttering under my breath I heard a chair pull out next to me- I couldn't even be bothered to wonder who it was.

"They could be high on drugs and I still wouldn't care."

"I'm not high on drugs" mother-of-holy-chocolate. Who knew a human could sound so sexy?

I slowly pushed my head up and turned to meet a pair of sparkling grey orbs.

Noah.

Well at least we could get the talking done now...

I know this chapter is short and I feel so bad coz I've updated after a century but school is really taking the toll on me.

I have the Easter holidays in 2 weeks! Yay- I promise longer chapters and more then.

Just be patient :)
