Kaelynn's P.O.V.

It took us around a week to fully move into the apartment complex. The dogs and Zesty were coming with us, don't want their parents to have to put up with them. I haven't seen Brian anymore since that day, but my nerves were everywhere, waiting for the moment when he would pop up again, out of nowhere. The twins probably have noticed my odd behavior, but hasn't said anything about it.

"Hey, KayKay?" I heard Char ask, in the closet.

"Yeah, Char?" I responded, stroking Georgia's fur.

"What happened that day? When you screamed? I would've asked sooner, but we were too busy."

Of course she was going to ask about that. I was wondering when she will.

"It's nothing to worry about, Char." I didn't want her to be worried or anything. Sure, I'm certain he was here, but that doesn't mean I got to tell her that he was. Then, she'll possibly end up like me.

"Kaelynn, I know you're lying. Just tell me!"

"You won't be able to handle it," I quickly said, hoping she would drop it.

"Yes, I can! I'm about to turn thirteen years old! Don't forget that I've handled worse things. Now tell me, or else, I'll tell..."

She abruptly stopped, and I knew exactly why. I knew exactly what the next word would have been. Char looked down, and I frowned. I probably should have told her from the start.

"I saw Brian," I bluntly announced to her.

She looked back up at me. "Where?"

"Mmm, I can't say," I won't say. "But, I saw him."

"He was near the house, wasn't he? That's why you screamed that day, huh?"

That smart little-- "Yes, that's why. Now, don't say anything to Ti or Tam about this, okay?"

Char nodded in understandment. "Okay."

"Have fun at school," I told Char, kissing her forehead.

"I will," she responded, walking into the school building.

I smiled a little before driving off, back to the house. Today was the first day of school for me, too. I was kind of anxious about going to college, experiencing everything about it. The twins said it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

"KayKay's back!" Ti yelled as soon as I stepped foot in the doorway.

"Okay!" Tam yelled back, from the kitchen.

I wasn't hungry, so I skipped breakfast and went straight to my room to get dressed. I've been skipping meals too, usually not having an apetite. But, I eat a little something in front of the twins so they won't be suspicious of anything.

"C'mon, Kay! We have to get to school!" I heard Ti call.

"Classes don't start until nine!" We had 45 minutes until it starts.

"Not unless you want to hang out before it does!"

I opened my room door. "Who can I hang out with? I don't know anybody besides you two!"

Ti, who was in the middle of curling her hair, shrugged. "Make some new ones!

Oh yeah, like it's easy for me to make new friends. Don't forget, I still have them issues too!

"I want to thank you two for getting my hair done," I thanked, pulling my hair into a ponytail.

"No problem! Consider it as a Welcome-to-College gift!" Ti smiled at me.

Most girls would want to look pretty and everything on their first day, but not me. I'm not trying to impress anyone, and I'm not trying to get noticed. I just put on a decent outfit, and did my hair in a ponytail. Simple, yet nice.

"A ponytail? Really, Kay?" Ti deadpanned.

"Yep. Nothing too fancy and nothing too dull. Ready?"

The twins had everything ready, and we all set out to our campus.

A/N: I know, I know. Slow beginning and everything. But, it'll be better later on. Maybe a little romance? NOT BETWEEN THE GIRLS! And sorry, in advance, if it sucks. Since, I know it will.

That's KayKay and Ti. And notice Kay's hair. Nice, right?

Thanks for the voting and all that good stuff.
