Kaelynn's P.O.V.
After Becky told me about the warning, I went to Char's room to see if she was okay. I haven't heard anything from her yet. Probably because she hates me still. But, I don't want her to hate me. And I need her to come to the station tonight so we could possibly solve the case and lock up whoever ruined our lives.
I knocked on the door and called her name, only to recieve no answer. Frowning, I knocked again, a little harder this time. Nothing. I began to worry, so I put my ear to the door. Maybe she was sleep? Hopefully she was asleep. Yet, I heard nothing. I didn't hear her breathing, nor any movement.
"Char! Please open up!" I shouted, knocking harder on the door.
I heard footsteps behind me, and Becky popped up out of nowhere. "She's not opening up?" She asked.
"No! And I'm worried! Can you get in, 'cause the door's locked?"
Becky pressed her ear to door just like I had a few moments ago. She frowned, then pulled somethung from her hair. A bobby pin. "I have this just in case," she said. Then, she jammed it in the lock and wriggled it around. A few moments later, a click was heard, and Becky twisted the knob.
"I have my reasons," she said in response to my astonished face. She pushed the door open, and we both gasped. The room was all clean and neat, but there was no Char. And the window was wide open.

"What do you mean it hasn't been 24 hours?!?" Tam was on the phone with the police to report a missing child, a.k.a. Char.
I ran my hands through my hair while Mason was massaging my shoulders, trying to calm me down. Becky was outside, trying to reach Char's phone. My nerves were bouncing off the walls. I needed Char. I needed to know if she was safe. Was she kidnapped? Or did she willingly go somewhere?
"This is sooooo STUPID!" Tam yelled, throwing her phone on th couch. "We have to wait for 24 HOURS until we can report her missing! UGH!"
I threw my hands up, then rushed outside to Becky. She gave me a sad, yet frustrated, look. "She's not picking up, Kay."
I groaned then decided to try myself. On the third ring, she picked up. "Hello?"
"CHAR! Oh, I'm so glad you're okay! Where are you?"
"Hey, KayKay. I'm okay. Don't come looking for me." Her voice waivered, and I immediately knew something was extremely wrong.
"Char, are you okay? Where are you? Are you at one of the girls' houses?" I asked, referring to the Flavah girls.
"No. I'm okay. 'Bye, Kay."
"Char--"
Too late. She already hung up. I started to cry because my little sister was missing, and I had no idea what to do. I could look for her, but where would I start. My breaths became harder to control, and it seemed like I couldn't breathe. I felt myself fall then cry harder, and everything around me disappeared as I experienced, yet another, panic attack.

Mason held me by my back as him, Becky, and I walked through the doors of the police station. When I had gained conciousness, it was almost time to go to the station. Tam stayed home, just in case Char came back.
"Hello, Kaelynn and friends," Offficer Dun greeted with a smile.
"Hey, Officer Dun," I responded, smiling faintly.
"Erm, I've found out something very interesting while you weren't here. Step into my office so you can take a, um, look?"
We followed Dun into his office, where he set out coffee and donuts again. I reached for the drink, because my throat was very dry. The board and folder was out again, and nothing has changed.
"Is your sister not here?" Dun asked me.
"No! She's missing, and whoever answered the phone wouldn't even help us find her!" I bursted out, then felt sorry. "Sorry, I'm just a little stressed."
Mason rubbed my arms in reassurance.
"Okay, sorry about Diane. She's kind of mean at times. Anyways, here's a report that the hospital has just released to us about your mother. I don't know why they didn't give it to us before. But, you'll be in shock when you find out what it says."
Dun handed me a piece of paper, and I read through it. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. I could not believe what I was reading. This just can't be possible. I refuse to believe it.
"This...this can't be possible!" I exclaimed, and handed the paper to Mason and Becky. Tears escaped my eyes, and I dropped my drink. Only half of it was left, but some leaked onto the floor. I was in total shock.
"Maybe you would like to talk to this Ann woman also?" Dun suggested.
I nodded. I was ready to confront this woman. I just knew she had something to do with it.
"I'm so sorry," Mason said. Becky nodded in agreement.
My mom died while she was pregnant. HOW was that even POSSIBLE?!?
Dun lead us to Ann's cell, which was far from the other criminals. Some of then was awake and glared at us. Mason held me tight, as if to protect me from them, which was sweet. But I couldn't relax. Especially since knowing some surprising news.
We finally reached it, and it was a big cell. You couldn't even see inside of it, because it was made out of steel. Dun pulled out a set of keys, and stuck the biggest one in and turned it. Slowly, the door opened to reveal Ann. She looked back at us with evil eyes. Her red hair was dirty, and the orange uniform was disheveled.
Becky took a step closer, and I was confused. Did she know this woman?
"GRANDMA?!?"
A/N: This would have been updated sooner, but my mom's boyfriend turned the internet off. Just because I was being "disrespectful". *rolls eyes* If he could have read my mind...ERGHHHH!
So, DRAMAAAAAA! Ciara was pregnant?!? That's her grandma?!? OHMEEGAWD!!
