Kaelynn's P.O.V.

The next day during classes, I could not sit still. I would always be wiggling and squirming in excitement, and Becky would look at me weirdly, along with whoever is sitting near me. Just the thought I could help the investigation sent tingling through my body, and a smile to spread across my face.

"You can never sit still, can you?" Becky claimed as we walked out of the school building.

"Usually, I do. But, I can't today! Just think about the possibilities. We can probably solve the case!" I squealed excitedly, attracting attention from passersby.

"Calm down," Becky shushed. "We're in public."

"I know, I know! Hey, lets go to my house and knock some of this homework out the way."

Becky shook her head, but agreed anyways. We hopped in her car, and started driving to my house. The whole way there, I was moving around in my seat, Becky side-glancing me. Probably wondering why was I acting so unusual. She knows where I'm going and what I'm doing, but doesn't know how excited I am about it.

My phone rings, and I answer it without looking at who it was. "Hellooo?" I said, very happily.

"Kaelynn? You sound really happy today. In a good mood?" It was Mason.

"Yep! I feel amazing!"

"So, that means you're coming to the party tonight?"

And that's the pin that deflates my balloon. I forgot that I didn't tell Mason that I couldn't go. Before his girlfriend walked in, I was going to explain it all to him and why I was doing what I had to do. But, really, Regina? You can't even remember your own boyfriend's last name? That's a little sad in my book.

"I'm sorry, Mason..." I trailed off. How was I supposed to tell him?

"Oh, that thing is tonight, isn't it? When you have to go to the station?"

HOW DID HE KNOW???

"How did you--"

Mason chuckled on the other line. "I remembered. And, I know you, Kaelynn. And I respect your decisions and why you can't come. It's cool, maybe next time?"

I smiled a little at how accepting he is towards me. "Thanks, Mase. And, sure."

"Mase? I have a new nickname? That's cool."

I giggled. I giggle too much around him. "Yeah. So, I'll see you later on?"

"Sooner than you think. 'Bye."

"'Bye." I hung up with a goofy smile on my face.

Becky smirked at me. "Talking to your boyfriend?" She teased.

"Shut up, Becky! He's just my best friend." My face started to heat up slightly. "Anyways, I thought you hated him?"

"I kind've do, but not for the reason you think."

"Well, why?"

"It has something to do with his dad and my grandma."

A huge question mark appeared over my head. "His dad is a proffessor at the school, even though I haven't seen or met him. Right?"

"Sureee."

I was even more confused. What relationship could be going on between Mason's dad and her grandma. Just when I was about to propose another question, my phone rung, and I unconciously answered it.

"Hello?"

"KayKay! I haven't spoken to you in forever!" It was Jaira, and when she said that, I felt bad.

"I am so sorry, Jay. A lot has been going on, and I feel so bad now. How are you?"

"Good. Char told me everything, by the way."

"Really? Where are you?"

"I'm home now, I was at Camren's not too long ago. I don't blame you for your actions. It's hard to deal with all these things, yet try to feel normal at the same time."

Am I that easy to read?

"I still feel bad. I'm neglecting you all, and I feel so sorry. We should have a get-together at our new place sometime."

"That would be cool. When?"

"Ummm, I'm not sure now. I'm not good with planning. But, I'll let you know and you can tell the other girls, okay?"

"Okay, sure. So, what are you doing now?"

"I'm driving with my new friend, Becky. Say hey, Becky!"

I tilted the phone towards Becky, and she said, "Hello, there!"

"So, you're cheating on us?" Jaira said when the phone was back on my ear.

"What? Nonononono--"

"I'm just joking with ya, KayKay. It's alright. Maybe we can meet her?"

I covered the phone, and said to Becky, "Would it be alright if you meet the girls one time? They want to meet you."

"Sure. Fine with me," Becky responded, and I relayed the message to Jay.

"Cool. Well, I have to go finish this homework. Laters."

"Later." With that, I hung up.

"Your friends?" Becky questioned.

I nodded.

"You should hang out with them more. They must miss you so much."

I agreed. I need to. We were at my house, so we got out the car and walked inside. I was still a little giddy about later on tonight. I couldn't wait to see how these policemen do it, and if they're doing it right.

A/N: Hi! A picture of KayKay and Jay. And a video of Kaelynn's dancing. Or, a compilation of them. If you can't see it here, just look it up.

Each day I look at the first CoMH, I see more reads each day, and that makes me really happy! And, hopefully, this book will get as many reads as that! :D

Don't worry, Regina will have bigger parts throughout the story. And the Flavah girls as well.

I got everything planned out (sorta) and I know the ending. Some of y'all will actually murder me this time. XD

Thanks for the reads, votes, comments. Means a lot. Really.

And to the people who are also supporting my other stories, I want to give a HUGE thank you to you babybre123 ! Even though they aren't as huge as what I'm writing and what I've wrote, it means a lot. Really. And to Wendy_Candy ! Who has been commenting  a lot, and that makes me happy! :D You all should totally check these two out. Ah-mazing stories they've written!

And to ShhhImaPikachu for their votes on the Revengence books. Amazing person. I was shocked at all the notifications I had!

And who could forget Pikachu9704 ? My dumb best friend in the real world, who forgets to read unless I tell her to? I love her anyways. :D
