Kaelynn's P.O.V.
Later that day, Char came back, and I felt so relieved. She doesn't know how bad I felt that we separated on a bad note, and how much I've thought about how I'm such a horrible sister. But, the only words she's said to me were "hey" and "excuse me", because I was blocking her way to the stairs. My heart was heavy, especially the disgusted looks she gave to Becky and Mason, who were still there.
"She still hates me," I mumbled, sitting cross-legged on the couch. Mason, who sat beside me, grabbed my hand and held it. Instinctively, I looked into his hazel eyes, so full of comfort and concern.
"Kay, it's okay. She'll come around, I'm sure of it."
I uncrossed my legs and moved so my head was leaning on his shoulder. The too-strong cologne he wore last night was faded away, replaced by a more natural scent. I really liked his scent...Annnnnd, I sound like a stalker.
"Hey, how about I take you on a little vacation?" Mason suggested. "You know, to take your mind off things. Kind've like what your..."
He trailed off, but I knew what he was about to say.
"It's okay, I'm not offended," I quietly said to him, in a reassuring way.
"I'm really sorry, Kaelynn. It sorta slipped ou--"
"I said it was okay! Don't make a big deal about it, alright?" I snapped unintentionally.
Mason's body tensed up a little, and I regretted saying what I said. Why was I acting so moody lately?
"Mason, I am so sorry," I apologized, sitting up to look at him. He didn't look hurt, surprisingly.
"Kaelynn, it's okay. I shouldn't have said that. I..."
"Mason, shhh." I smiled to let him know it was okay.
A/N: Annnnd, that's the end! Sorry it's really short, annnnnd--
Nah, I just kidding! XD I have more, so...keep reading... :D

When the weekend was over, and school started, everytime I saw Mason, Regina was with him. She gave me dirty looks everytime we saw each other. To anybody else, they would shy away and become scared of her. That would have been me when school first started. But, I'm not afraid. I just ignored her, and confidentally waved back to Mason.
On Tuesday, when I came onto campus, Mason walked right up to me. Regina, fortunantly, wasn't hanging on his arm, and I gave him a genuine smile.
"Hi, Mason!" I greeted happily, giving him a hug.
"Hey, Kay. Look, come on. We're leaving," Mason said.
I gave him a confused look. "Leaving? Why--?"
"I got all your work in my bag. Lets go, we're leaving."
As much as I wanted to drop everything and leave with Mason, I had to atleast have an explanation. "Where are we going?"
"I told you, on a little vacation. I have everything planned out. Now, lets go before Regina spots me. Quick!"
We rushed into his sports car, that was convienently in front of us, and he drove off. My head was spinning. Mason's really going on vacation? With me? What about Regina?
"Why isn't Regina going?" I asked.
"Would it really be a vacation if someone you dislike comes along?" Mason chuckled. How did he know?
I stayed silent as he drove the famliiar way to my house. We got there, and I went inside to pack some clothes.
"Where are we going?" I called down thw stairs to him.
"It's a surprise!" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
"Masonnnnn! Tell me!"
"Bring something comfortable, and something nice!"
Yeah, that helps a lot. "How long?"
"Um, until Friday!"
After packing the things I thought would be neccessary, I carried my suitcase downstairs. Mason begged to let him carry it to the car, which I agreed to, then I sent a text to the twins, Becky, and Char, explaining where I'll be at and everything.
Then, we started driving again.
"Tell me about Regina," I said, wanting to start up a conversation.
"Erm, we've been dating for a while now. Um...her favorite color's purple. And, she likes going to classy places with me. Anything else?"
I laughed at his vague description of her. "How did you two start dating?"
Mason started blushing. "Well, I had a little crush on her. For a while. She used to be really nice, until we started dating."
"Oh, so you're the one who turned her into a...you-know-what?"
Mason laughed at my lack of cursing. "No, I'm not the reason. She got all protective over me all of a sudden. I'm guessing because she found out I'm, you know, wealthy and all. She won't let one girl even talk to me!"
"Well, I'm here to stay!" I joked.
He shook his head with a big smile on his face. "Yeah, but the spark we had doesn't exist anymore. I don't think she loves me for...me. She's probably messing around with that Damen guy."
"Who's Damen?" I asked. I was purely interested in who's Regina possibly messing around with. 'Cause Mason deserves SO much better than that.
"Some guy she met when she was out of town," he explained.
"I thought she was out with her friends?"
"Apparently not. I don't know the whole story or anything right now. It's probably all in my head, I need to figure it out."
No words were said for a few minutes, and I watched the road. "You deserve better," I quietly said.
"I know," he agreed.
I whipped my head around to take a better look at Mason. Did he really not like Regina either? If not, why is he still with her? He should be with somebody that treats him better than her. Somebody that doesn't care about how much money he has, or how good-looking, or how popular he is. Somebody that loves him for him. As much as I've thought about it, I came to only one conclusion.
That person was me.
A/N: D'AWWWWW! Kaelynn likes Mason! But, does Mason like her back?
