Kaelynn's P.O.V.
The next morning when I woke up, I smelled something extremely good. No doubt it was Mason. I rolled out of bed and walked into the kitchen. He didn't even notice me watching him, because he was dancing while he cooked. An amused smile spread across my face as he did a weird dance I have never seen before, especially not in any of the classes I have taught.
"Nice moves," I said, almost making him drop his plate of waffles on the kitchen floor.
His face turned from surprised to relieved. "It's just you, Kay," he sighed, making me giggle.
"Yeah. Just woke up," I claimed lamely.
Mason chuckled before setting two plates on the table. They both towered with blueberry waffles covered in syrup. My mouth watered just looking at them, so I gazed up at Mason who just dat down.
"Thanks," I thanked, picking up a fork.
"I thought you would need something to, you know, cheer you up from last night. And I thought you would like blueberry. So...here you go."
"Well, it's delicious," I complimented with my mouth full. So ladylike!
We finished eating, and I offered to clean the kitchen. Mason said that since he cooked, then he should clean up. But, I was already loading dishes into the dishwasher. There was no way I was going to look like a spoiled brat. Like Regina. But, I don't want to think about her.
After showering and putting on something comfortable, like Mason said, I met him in the living room. He smiled at me, then lead me out the hotel.
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"That's a surprise."
I groaned in annoyance. "Just tell me! I'll see it anyways!"
"Exactly why it's a surprise!"
I playfully rolled my eyes and continued to follow him to this mystery place.

"We're here!" Mason exclaimed.
I couldn't even see where we were. Why? HE BLINDFOLDED ME! I huffed out in anticipation.
"Where are we?" I asked for the billionth time.
"I'll give you a hint. It's outdoors!"
"MAAAAAASE! You know I can't guess easily! Just tell me already!"
Mason chuckled, but I heard his cardoor open then close. After a moment, my door opened, and he helped me out. Guiding me with an arm around my waist, I hope he doesn't notice my blush on my face. We walked over some small hills, and it felt very warm outside. We must have travelled farther south.
"Mason, can I see now?" I questioned.
Mason hummed a bit and we walked a few more feer before he sropped. "Now you can look."
I practically ripped off the blindfold and gasped at the sight in front of me. It was like one of the trips Char and I have been on with...our mom. The water was beautiful, and the sun was high in the sky. A light breeze was blowing, moving the branches on the nearby tree a little.
"Mason...this is amazing..." I breathed, walking closer to the water.
"Do you like it?"
"Like it? No, I LOVE it! It's so beautiful and peaceful, and...thank you." I turned around and gave him a big hug. He is so sweet to even think about taking me on a little vacation.
"I'm glad you do." Mason hugged me back, then walked me to the tree, where we sat down. He kept glancing at me from time to time. My guess is because all of this might trigger a panic attack or something. But, I was perfectly fine.
"Mase, I'm fine. You don't have to keep looking at me."
Mason's face started to redden, and his eyes went to the body of water in front of us. My guess was correct. I chuckled then watched the water right along with him. My mind was at ease for a while. Until Mason's phone rang.
"Regina?" He answered, slightly confused.
And now my ease is gone. I mentally rolled my eyes. Regina just has to ruin everything when Mason and I are alone. She must be insecure. REALLY insecure.
"Regina, there's nothing going on," he said into the phone.
I got up and walked away, so Mason can have alone time with his jealous girlfriend. As much as I would like to listen in, it's wrong. No matter how much I dislike Regina.
Mason was such a sweet and caring guy. I don't understand why he puts up with her. Maybe he just doesn't want to be the bad guy if he breaks up with her. But, she's the one that's cheating on him! I know she is! That Darien, Damen, Donald guy--whatever his name is--is messing around with Regina. And it's not fair that he thinks she cares about him so much, when she's actually just using him for his money. I would tell him that, but I don't rhink he would believe me. Even though I'm his friend and everything, he would probably think I'm saying that to just get rid of Regina. Even though it's part of the reason.
"Kay! Kay, you can come back now!"
I spun around and went back to Mason, who had a sorry smile on his face. He was just so cute.
"Sorry about that. Regina's just...wow."
"Oh, it's okay." I smiled and we resumed our spots under the tree.
"Can I talk to you about...Regina?" Mason hesitantly asked.
My heart lept at his words. Was it good or bad? "S-sure. Anything."
"You know how I was talking about Regina and Damen in the car?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, I'm sure she's cheating on me."
If my ears could perk up, they would be now. "Whaaaaat? How? Why would you say that?"
"I heard that Damen guy's voice in the background. And when I asked if it was him, she actually said it was. Then, I asked what they were doing. And you know what she said? 'Nothing'."
I frowned, but was cheering inside. "That's too bad. Who would ever want to cheat on you! You're such a great guy!"
Mason shrugged. "Maybe I'm not too great for her. What does he have that I don't?"
I shrugged, then laid my head on his chest. I listened to his steady breathing. "I repeat, you don't deserve that. You deserve better."
"Maybe I do. Or maybe I'm not paying attention to her."
"Mase, she's hanging on your arm a lot of the time! Of course you pay attention to her! She's just greedy, and you don't deserve somebody who cheats on you and lies right to your face!"
Mason sat me up and gazed into my eyes. I reciprocated it. "So, you wouldn't do those things?"
I slowly shook my head. "No," I whispered.
Mason brushed some hair out of my face, and my breath hitched. He was so close. What was I supposed to do? Move away? That would have been rude.
We leaned closer and closer until...
We kissed. Mason and I are kissing. We are actually kissing! I closed my eyes and kissed him harder. His arms wrapped around my waist, while mine went around his neck. I saw stars and fireworks behind my eyelids. Everything felt...amazing.
A/N: Happy Easter! Happy finally? They kissed! Yah, yah, yah! That's the place they went to.
There's an alternate chapter for "Feelings For Mason" in my Alternate Chapters book. And there will be an alternate for this one soon. Annnnnd, a deleted chapter. For this and the original CoMH! So, check them out! :D
