Kaelynn's P.O.V.

No more of the confusing "forgetting" things happened the rest of the weekend. I kept myself locked in my room. Every other minute, they would knock on my door and check on me. Was I starting to go crazy? 'Cause it didn't seem that they were joking.

On Monday, I didn't even bother going to school. I was going crazy, school can't help me! Tiara kept knocking on my door, telling me I was going to be late. But, I laid in my bed, with my bed hair from the failed attempts of sleep I got last night. Tyson slept at the foot of my bed. Lucky him.

As soon as they left the house, I jumped out the bed. The house was heated up still, and I shrugged on a robe. I slipped my phone in my pocket out of habit, and went to the kitchen. Georgia was eating, so I gave her water, then I sat at the kitchen island. I had no idea what I was going to do with myself. A lot of things has happened in such a short time, it's taking a long time for my brain to process it. Becky's grandmother is a criminal that terrorized us, Charlize is hiding things from me, I have no idea who committed the crime of killing my mom, my mom was PREGNANT when she died, and I have a feeling that Brian's up to something. And on top if that, Mason asked me to be his girlfriend. And I said yes. Yes. YES, for Pete's sake! How and when did I say that? My heart is still pounding from that.

Hearing my stomach growl, I went in the fridge to see a pizza box, and a note from Char.

KK,

Saved you some leftovers :)

-Char XOXO

I smiled a little, before throwing the pizza in the oven, and turning it to the second lowest setting. I had a craving for cookies, so I searched the cabinets until I found some chocolate chip cookies. The soft kind I really like.

My phone rung in my pocket, and I fished it out to get it. Mason's face showed up on the phone. Which made me wonder, when did I put that up there?

"Hello?" I answered.

"Kay, baby. What's wrong?" He asked.

My heart fluttered when he said 'baby', but i made sure it didn't effect the way I spoke. "What do you mean? I'm okay."

"Why aren't you at school?"

"Because. I didn't want to go."

The line was quiet for a while before he said something else. "Okay." Then he hung up. I pressed the end button, then waited for my pizza to be done.

The door opened as I was finishing my last slice. Mason's head appeared in the kitchen. A smile spread across his face when he saw me, and walked to me. Closer and closer he came, and I spread my arms out for a hug. Instead, he scooped me up and planted a firm kiss on my lips. I felt dazed by the movement as he sat me back down.

"Why'd you do that?" I suddenly asked.

"Is it a crime to kiss my girlfriend?" He chuckled. Oh yeahhh...

"Sorry! I forgot!" I nervously laughed, finding nothing at all funny.

He sat beside me and offered himself a cookie. "So, why weren't you going to school?"

I shrugged and tried to think of a good lie. "You know...My head is pounding right now, Mase. I wouldn't have been able to put up with the yelling proffessors and all."

"Oh, I can go get you a headache pill," he offered.

"No!" I said too quickly. "I don't want to go," I added in a quieter voice.
