Of course, Harry insisted on renting a car to get to the hotel. In a way, I understand since it's better for his privacy. But he wouldn't even let us put a dollar toward the car, and he rented a pretty expensive car. We're probably just gonna have to get used to him not taking our money. That doesn't mean we're not gonna stop trying to get him to take it though.
The car ride to the hotel wasn't bad, maybe about 15 minutes. We all ended up taking a nap in the room after we checked in and showered. It was so early when we got in and there was nothing to do yet anyway. Holly and I took one bed and Eli took the other while Harry slept on the couch. We told him he could get a different room but he wanted to stay in the room with us.
This hotel is a lot different than the last one. It's super homey and well, old. We were all surprised since it looked a lot more cute and vintage in the pictures online, but we're only here for a couple of days anyway. Harry on the other hand loved the old feel of the building, but he called it historic. At least the room was bigger than the one in London, not by much but it could sleep four people easily.
I wake up first, seeing Holly face down in the pillows. I'm sure she's still alive. Elias is sprawled out on the other bed, his arm covering his eyes as he sleeps. I get out of the bed, quietly making my way to the bathroom to put on some makeup and do my hair. The curtains were shut tight so the light from outside didn't bother our slumber, but there's a lamp on that's giving the room a soft glow.
Seeing Harry asleep on the couch captivates me. He's too long for it so his legs dangle off the edge. His arms stay crossed against his chest as he sleeps, his breathing soft. He looks so peaceful while he sleeps. His mouth twitches slightly as he dreams, which brings a small smile to my lips. His eyelids flutter softly, but stay closed.
It all of a sudden hits me how creepy I'm being watching him sleep. My eyes widen in embarrassment as I walk into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. If he would have woken up while I was standing there I probably would have jumped out the window or something.
I quickly run my brush through my hair so I don't have crazy bed head while we walk around Dublin. I grab my eyebrow pencil and fill them in before brushing through them with a brow gel. I don't really do makeup too often, but it always makes me feel really pretty, even if it's just filling in my eyebrows and putting a little mascara on.
Holly's been hyping me up this whole trip, which I'm really grateful for. She made me get all new clothes that had no attachment to Jesse at all and advocated for me to take risks with what I wear. Only, the biggest risk I took was getting a few string bikinis. Kind of regretting that now since Harry's around and if we're on a beach with him I will definitely be photographed in those string bikinis. At least I stopped Holly before she got me that low cut dress with all the cutouts on it.
When I exit the bathroom, Harry is now sitting up on the couch, rubbing his eyes with his palms. I've noticed that he's done that a few times now. It's like he doesn't use his fingers to wipe his eyes like normal people.
"What time is it?" he grumbles, his voice deep and raspy and his accent strong.
There is something so... vulnerable about seeing someone as they just are waking up and hearing their morning voice.
"Oh, it's about ten now." I answer, checking my phone in my hand.
He nods a bit before stretching, a quiet groan escaping his lips. He shakes the sleep off of his face and looks back over at me, smiling a bit, "How long do you think them two will sleep for?" he asks as he gets up on his feet.
I glance back over at Holly, who is now laying on her back. For someone who complains about how crazy of a sleeper I am, she's not that pleasant to share a bed with either. Elias is still in the same position he was when I went into the bathroom.
