Grace

Last night was just so perfect. Like straight out of a movie perfect. I couldn't sleep honestly, I just laid up in bed, thinking of him and playing with his ring on my necklace.

He gave me his ring. And as much as I want to hide it from Holly and Elias so they don't ask questions, I also want to wear it proudly. So that's what I'm doing.

I maybe got two hours of sleep, which is totally fine. I woke up to start getting ready excited for another day with Harry.

I picked out this really pretty milkmaid style dress. It has little pink flowers all over and has a squared neckline and puffy sleeves. It's midi length with a little slit in the side.

And it shows off the necklace perfectly.

I don't know why I packed this dress honestly. Maybe for a nice dinner or just for some pictures or something. It's definitely way out of my comfort zone. I usually wear simple dresses that are super plain, if I even wear a dress. Holly picked it out for me when we went shopping before the trip. I'm really glad she did though.

Looking in the mirror, I make some little adjustments to my hair and put on a little mascara and lipgloss. My eyes fall to the necklace, smiling at the sight of the ring. I reach up, delicately running my fingers over it.

The door opens to my room and my hand flattens over my chest, covering the ring in reflex. My head flies over, seeing Holly standing there. "Good Morning! Oh my god, that dress is perfect!" she gushes, coming over to look at me.

"Oh, thanks! I figured it would be cute to wear in Florence." I smile, closing my palm around the pendant and ring.

"You're definitely right about that. Now I wish I put on a dress. Maybe when we get to the hotel." she shrugs, "Come on, we have to get going." she says before walking out of the room.

My hand lets go of the necklace once she's gone. I take a deep breath, letting it out. I just need an excuse for when they ask about it.

I could just say that I begged and begged until he gave in and let me have the ring. Or that I bought it for myself while we were walking around. Only, I didn't have it on my necklace during dinner or back at the hotel.

Or I just won't say anything to them. That might work. They don't even have to know it's Harry's.

I slip on some cute sandals, making sure one more time in the mirror that I look cute and not stupid. I close up my luggage, checking around the room to see if I'm forgetting something, before leaving the room.

The second I step out of my room, Harry is stepping out of his across the hall. I smile, just wanting to run over and kiss him.

His eyes meet mine and widen a bit, traveling down to take me in. It makes me nervous honestly. I don't want him to think I'm trying too hard or something. Oh god, he probably thinks I'm trying too hard.

He smiles, glancing down the hall to see if Holly and Elias are around, and walks over to me. His hand gently places on my jaw, his thumb brushing over my bottom lip. "Buongiorno mia bellissima principessa." he whispers.

There go the flutters again. I know what he said this time. "Buongiorno mia perla." I smile, just wanting to lean up and connect our lips.

His fingers gently trail down my neck to my chest, following the chain of my necklace to his ring. "Perfetto." he mumbles, a slight smile on his face.

My breath stops as his fingertips touch my chest. He's never touched me here before. It feels like such an intimate place to be touched. I never wear things this low cut, but I am for him. And not even to be touched by him, he just makes me feel confident. He makes me feel beautiful and I want to show him that.
