Grace

I follow Holly down the long hallway, dragging my luggage along behind me. It's 7pm now. Midnight in London. I've been texting with Harry, letting him know that we landed safely and we were in the car with Katie.

Katherine was so excited to see us, especially Elias. Seeing them hugging and kissing when we got to the car hurt, but I'm happy that my brother is happy. He deserves that. I know he was missing her by the end of the trip. Three weeks is a long time to be away from the person you love.

They drove us home first and Eli helped bring our bags up the stairs before saying goodnight and letting us go to our apartment. I know he was eager to get back to Katie.

Holly opens the door to the apartment and the numb feeling I've had since I got on the plane just gets worse. I cross the threshold, looking around the apartment when Holly turns on the lights. I don't belong here.

"I'm gonna order dinner, anything specific you want?" Holly asks as she walks further into the apartment, going into her bedroom.

"No, just get whatever." I say, really not caring about what she gets us.

My first meal without Harry in three weeks. The last time we didn't eat together was the first day in London and breakfast that next morning. Now who knows how long I'll go without having him next to me.

My eyes scan the apartment, taking everything in. I used to think it was cozy in here. We decorated really boho chic with lots of plants and pops of green and gold. Holly had a lot of say in it because she needed the vibes to be perfect. There are also a lot of crystals everywhere where she thinks they'll have maximum ability or something.

No amount of crystals or sage will be able to take away this pain in my chest.

I can't be in here right now. "Hols, I'm gonna go down and get the mail." I say, turning quickly to make a beeline out of this apartment. She calls back out in acknowledgment and I grab my keys from the bowl by the door and head out.

Locking the door on my way out, I head back down to the lobby so I could get to the mailroom. I also have to ask Mark at the front desk if that box of stuff is here since I didn't see it in the apartment. I take out my phone, checking to see if Harry's responded to my last text but nothing. He probably fell asleep.

I sigh, walking down the last few stairs before walking over to the desk. "Hey Mark." I say, trying not to sound too upset.

Mark has always been good to me and Holly. It might just be because he knows that Rocco's my cousin, but I like to think that he has a soft spot for us because we bring him cookies when we bake. He has to sit here all day long, might as well do something nice for him.

"Grace! Long time no see! How was that trip?" he asks, a big smile on his face.

I let out a soft sigh, messing with the keys in my hand, "It was great. Leaving sucked." I shrug, not really wanting to go into it.

"I can imagine, I wouldn't want to leave either." he agrees. Oh you have no idea, Mark.

"Anyway, did I get a box? Rocco said he would bring it up but I didn't see it at the apartment." I ask, not wanting to think about the trip anymore for right now.

Mark lets out a chuckle and nods, "You two were very popular ladies while you were away. I swear you were getting packages every day. Rocco just had me put everything in the back. Why don't you go up and I'll bring it up for you, I know you must be tired from the flight and plus there's a lot."

My brows furrow at his statement. We didn't order anything at all so why were there packages coming to the apartment? But I nod, "Okay... I'll leave the door open." I say, hesitantly going back up to the fourth floor.
