Grace
Sleeping alone sucked, as suspected.
I couldn't get comfortable at all. I contemplated going into Harry's room to get into bed, but I decided against it for the sole reason that tomorrow is a travel day and if god forbid the two of us are the last people sleeping, Holly and Elias won't catch us in the same bed.
Luckily since I couldn't get comfortable, I was up early. The first thing I did was cover up the hickey...
Okay maybe the first thing I did was take a picture of the hickey before I covered it up. It's the first one Harry's given me, I want to remember it!
I also quickly hopped into Harry's room to cover his up once I was done getting ready. The entire time I was putting concealer on the dark purple splotch his eyes were on his ring on my necklace. He seemed okay considering he's probably hung over.
Elias drove us to the train station and my eyes were on the spot behind Harry's ear, trying to see if I could tell if there was a hickey there. It's easier for me to hide mine if the cover job isn't so good since I could just wear my hair down, but his has to be good.
I could just convince them Elias gave Harry the hickey since they were drunk, but they don't seem to have any lapses in memory.
Traveling is definitely getting a lot more exhausting. It's just the constant packing and unpacking of every bag. Harry loves to take out all my cameras to see which one he'll use for the day, even though he always picks the same film one every time.
I'm surprised I haven't left anything in any of these hotels and rentals. I'm glad I haven't but, I'm not holding my breath on it. It'll happen, I know it will.
Harry went back to sleep the second we got on the train and honestly, I'm right there with him. He's sitting next to me for this train ride, so I let him rest his head on my shoulder as he sleeps with his arms crossed. He's been going back and forth between the window and my shoulder.
I'm about two seconds away from resting my head on top of his and falling asleep for the few hours we'll be on the train to Rome, but then Elias clears his throat.
"So Harry likes to speak Italian when he gets drunk huh?" he points out, his arms crossed a bit.
I just shrug, "I guess. I mean, I have no idea what he's saying. Maybe it's just cause we're in Italy."
Honestly, that's the truth. I know he's most likely saying something romantic about me when he's speaking Italian, but I mean, he talked to Elias last night and I doubt he would say something romantic to Elias.
"Yeah, I guess it's just weird. He seemed a little flirty though, I mean, dancing with you. The hand placement was a little too comfortable." he continues.
"Did Holly put you up to this? Because she told me about the engagement thing. Look, just because we're comfortable around each other, doesn't mean we're dating or in love or flirting. It's just like me and Holly. We joke around all the time, but you don't think we're dating." I say with a smile.
Flipping it on Elias is the worst feeling in the world. I hate lying to my brother more than I hate lying to Holly. But this is just way too new and I'm not too sure what's happening yet. It's just fun and flirty and romantic, but we just want it to be ours right now.
"No, Holly didn't put me up to this. And I don't think you and Harry are dating. But it is different from you and Holly. You and Holly don't stare into each other's eyes every chance you get." he points out.
"Well that's cause she doesn't let me." I joke, smiling.
"The point is that he does let you. And you let him Gracie." Holly points out.
