Grace

Two years later

A month in Italy isn't long enough. Every time we come back, which has been more and more recently, it gets harder and harder to leave. Italy is definitely our safe haven. This is where nobody bothers us and we get to just let our relationship be.

Through the vanity mirror in the hotel bathroom, I spot Harry leaning against the doorframe with a smile. "I'm almost done. I know, it's almost time to go." I turn back to look at him with a smile.

He's dressed in a nice pair of dark green, fitted slacks and a cream colored, light dress shirt that's not buttoned all the way. He's accented with a brown belt and matching colored dress shoes. I've never seen a man look more handsome in the two years I've been with him. I know I never will.

Two years of being completely and utterly in love with him. It's always been hard to pinpoint an anniversary with him, since we were kind of dating in Vienna but we started kissing and saying forever in Venice, but we didn't officially become boyfriend and girlfriend until Rome. So instead of picking one date, Harry decided that the time between June 26 to July 18 is our anniversary. We really only celebrate on July 9 though. That was the day we kissed under the bridge.

Every July 9 we're in Venice, walking around the city and kissing under the Bridge of Sighs at sunset. It's a silly little tradition, but we really love it.

"You look gorgeous, darling. We have plenty of time, no rush." he smiles a bit, "I just wanted to look at you."

A light blush crosses my cheeks and I shake my head, finishing up putting on my makeup. "You look hot." I say, laughing at his reaction. He walks over with a smug smile, kissing my cheek. "I do, don't I?"

He puts his chin against my shoulder, smiling at me in the mirror, "Think we've locked in another eternity?" he asks, his arms wrapping around my waist tight.

"I think there's a good chance." I smile, just wanting to remember this moment. It's so peaceful and quiet. With a giggle, I tap his nose with the makeup brush in my hand, leaving a little highlighter behind. He chuckles, shaking his head, "I'll be by the door. I think you're gonna like where we're having dinner." He presses another kiss to my cheek before standing straight and starting to head out.

I get started putting away my makeup, but I peek into the mirror and see he's looking back at me. My focus goes back to my makeup bag as I try to hide my smile. A minute later I glance back up into the mirror and he's gone.

I love him so much.

While I'm putting on finishing touches like perfume and jewelry, my mind just wanders through the past two years. It seems almost impossible that it's only been two years with everything that's happened.

Like, Elias and Katie got married. Their wedding was so beautiful and fun. I was Elias' 'Best Man' and surprisingly he and Katie asked Harry to officiate. He was so excited to officiate the wedding and would practice in front of me every night the last two months before the wedding. It was pretty cute and he would make me practice my speech for during dinner right after which really helped.

Now they're having a baby girl together at the beginning of December which is blowing my mind. Like I'm gonna have a little niece and Elias is gonna be a dad. I've been obsessively going to their place all the time now when I'm not working to help with whatever they might need. I've also taken Harry's card out for a spin a few times to shop for her. Perks of dating a guy with money.

Harry doesn't care though because he's been in the same boat. Gemma and Leo got married a few months before Elias and Katie did. Harry was the best man, which helped when it came to me having to take care of best man duties, and Gemma surprisingly asked me to be a bridesmaid. I had never been in a wedding before and I definitely didn't expect to be in Harry's sister's wedding.
