He was walking around Central City having returned from the dead until he heard police sirens in the distance. The death of the Red Death means the birth of a new hero. He let his lightning cling to him as a bright red suit formed around him that was completely different from his dark red armour.

He sped towards the sirens and saw another bank robbery. He sped in and out and left them tied up outside the bank. He was smiling at his handywork when he felt a gust of wind behind him.

"Who are you?" Kara asked. Barry span around as a smiled grew on his face.

"Follow me." He smiled as he sped away. Kara was left confused because there was only one person who had that colour lightning.

"No.....Barry?" She asked confused. Using all her strength she flew after the orange trail of lightning that led her into the middle of an open field.

"Who are you!!" Kara yelled. He slowly lifted his mask off his face with a goofy smile plastered across his face that Kara would recognise anywhere.

"Y-You're dead, don't impersonate him!!" She yelled shooting her heat vision at him, "H-He died six months ago and now you're here pretending to be him. I will kill you right here and now."

"Six months....?" He said to himself as he was hit in the chest with searing hot heat vision that pushed him to the ground.

"Before I kill you. Why did you impersonate him?" She asked.

"Impersonate who?"

"Don't act dumb!"

"Kara...it's me. Your Barry, I know it must've been hard for those six months, but you're strong, strong enough to raise our daughters by yourself and be a hero." He smiled. He could see her eyes softening ever so slightly, "I know you're angry at me but we both know it was the only way to stop Belmont and save our family." He said getting withing arms length of her.

"You promised you would marry me after the war was over, does that promise still hold?" He asked cupping her cheek and he intertwined their fingers. She was in shock when she saw the ring on his finger, the same ring she was wearing.

"I-Is it really you, am I dreaming?" Kara asked tearily

"I'm here, I'm alive." He smiled putting her hand over his chest. She hugged him tightly and sobbed into his shirt as he held her close to him.

"I love you Kara." He whispered as he kissed the top of her head. She didn't say anything she was too happy and in shock to do anything but cry, "Hey....look at me." He said softly as he looked at her and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Don't cry, you did well while I was away." He said as Kara smiled at him. The first smile she's had in months.

"Welcome home." She said as he brought their lips together in a kiss. Lightning danced around them as it formed a small spiral around them like fireflies in the night time field

"H-How are you alive?" She finally asked

"I'll explain later, first let's go home." He said as she wiped her eyes and nodded. He lifted her into his arms bridal style before speeding away in a flash of lightning.

She felt the wind brushing past her face as she smiled up at her fiancee who returned back from the dead. She should be skeptical of how he came back to life but all that matters to her is that he's here.

They stopped outside of their house as Kara sped into her proper clothes.

"You ready?" Kara asked as he nodded. They opened the door and saw Alice curled up on the couch with her head resting in Grace's lap.
