Staying over

Beck's rv pulled up on Robbie's place who slaps his knees as he gets up.
"Welp thanks for the ride." He said happily and then he turned to Cat with a shy smile.
"Hey Cat you wanna hang at mine for a bit."

Jade glared at the boy, the familiar burn of jealousy seething within her. It doesn't make sense.
"Why am I feeling this way?" Her emotions were playing with her, taunting her. The idea of her staying at that glasses wearing freaks place... caused anger to bubble within her. She didn't know why. Robbie is nice, too nice. No one is that nice without having a specific motive and Jade knew his game. He wanted to get in Cat's pants and who could blame him. So what if he wants to sleep with cat? That's between him and Cat.

"Umm no I should get home." Cat said is a soft voice.

"Ah okay." Robbie said as he gave a nod. "Tell your parents I said hi."
He left the rv with disappointment clear on he face that made Jade smirk. She knew it wasn't nice, that she should feel bad for him as he'd risked embarrassment by asking her infront of everyone.
Buuuuuuuuut it meant she wasn't going to spend anymore time around him and his stiffy and that made Jade happy.

Jade's place was the next closest and it didn't take very long for for her to get there.
"Well here's your place." Beck said in his normal, 'cool guy' tone.

"Thanks." Jade responded blankly. She, predictably, wasn't exactly cheery with Beck. It hadn't been particularly long since the breakup and she was still as little pissed. However she had to admit, she missed him a little. She missed hanging out with him on days like this. She'd just go round his place and hangout, talking about whatever; bullshit their parents were talking, crap in school, predicting drama that would happen. It was always enjoyable, she was able to just kill time with Beck, to just spend time with him and it's something she didn't consider when things ended. How she would lose that reliable person she could depend on to keep her company.

And well, it's been a month now since she's gotten laid which isn't helping her decipher her feelings towards Cat.

Jade understood that her relationship with Beck wasn't perfect that it brought out the worst in them both. They fought about stupid things constantly. They were angry constantly, it made everyone uncomfortable and it made Cat faint.
"Why should that concern me so much." Jade thought to herself. I mean it wasn't something Jade used to worry herself with. How her actions affected other people. But suddenly the fact that her actions hurt Cat, made it so Jade re-evaluate the type of person she was when she was with Beck. How has Jade's meanness hurt Cat in other ways?

Jade snapped herself out of her thoughts and began leaving the Rv
"Bye Jade!" Tori said in her usual up beat tone.
Jade groaned, she knew Tori was just being polite but why? Jade's never been polite to Tori and yet she constantly tried to be nice, to be her friend.

"Does she have no self respect?" She asked herself. As Jade opened the door to the Rv she felt a tug at her jacket and she rolled her eyes, annoyed that someone was once again talking to her. Her annoyance however evaporated when she saw the bright red hair of Cat and her big brown eyes looking up at her.

"Hey Jade." Cat began, her voice small, hesitant, lacking the usual happy tone, seeming more serious which took Jade off guard and she raised an eyebrow in response.
"Can I stay round for a bit?" She asked innocently with wide eyes.

Jade gave a smirk. She'd never admit it but she actually hated being alone. She hated not having someone to talk to. Before she would talk to Beck constantly, even when they were spending the night apart they'd talk on the phone for hours but she didn't get to do that anymore so the idea of Cat spending the night round hers was pretty exciting.
"Plus your parents aren't home."
Her mind teased but Jade tried to push the thought out. Nothing would happen, she couldn't let it. As much as Cat meant to her a relationship with the girl would not be a good idea. Cat was too important to Jade for her to just be a rebound but Jade seriously doubted that they could sustain a relationship.
"I couldn't even keep a relationship with the calm and collected Beck stable." Jade thought to herself. "How the hell would I be able to sustain one with someone like Cat?" However, Jade wasn't about to decline the girl. Jade still liked having Cat around, even if sometimes she got on Jade's nerves Cat was, and always will be, her best friend, even if she wouldn't ever say it out loud.
"Of course."
