Tori arrived at Beck's rv to see a small amount of light coming through the window. The day of the showcase was rapidly approaching and after speaking to others in his acting class, Tori had learned that Beck was no closer to gaining the confidence needed to perform. The class was trying to hold hope that Beck would be able be apart of the showcase but they were running out of time and if he didn't make a significant improvement soon then the class would have to recast. Tori couldn't in good consciousness sit there and do nothing. This was a great opportunity for Beck so if he wasn't a pert of it it would make Beck's future career in acting more difficult.

Tori knocked on the door as a voice mumbled "it's open" from the other side.

Tori peaked her head in the door way. "Hey Beck." She said as she made her friends way inside, closing the door behind her.
"How you feeling."

"You didn't need to come all the way out here Tori." The Canadian boy said as he stared blankly at his ceiling, feeling nothing but the crushing emptiness in his chest.

"I didn't need to." The girl replies as she sat down next to the boy.
"But I wanted too."

"I'm guessing my acting class sent you here?" The boy asked, staring at the ceiling.

"They're worried about you." Tori said to her boyfriend.

"I know I'm being selfish." He said with a hoarse voice. "I should just suck it up and do the show, but every time I think about going on that stage, everyone looking at me, at..." Beck lightly touched his scarred face. "At this. It makes me feel sick."

"Beck you're not being selfish." Tori said with sympathy. "You went through a very traumatic event. You jumped in front of Jade to protect her. No one would ever call that selfish."

"But if I don't do the showcase, if I drop out now, that'll mean my class will have to change the whole show around to compensate." Beck says, guilt washing over him as he imagined his classmates desperately reorganising the show before the showcase.

"Well if they have to change the show they have to change the show." Tori replied and Beck looked at his girlfriend with curiosity as she laid down next to him. "You have to do what's best for you, if you're not ready to go up on stage then you're not ready, no-one can force you to be ready."

Beck wrapped his arms around the girl as he spoke. "But i'll be wasting a massive opportunity."

"For someone with your talents there will be other chances." Tori countered.

"But" Beck began but Tori pressed a finger to his lips.

"If you want to go up on that stage, then i'll support you the whole way, but don't force yourself if you're not ready because you feel obligated too." Tori said as she stared at him with her beautiful brown eyes.

Beck smiled as a weight lifted off his chest, he'd been trying to deal with all this alone but he now realised he didn't have too. Tori would be there, so would Andre, Robbie, Jade, Cat and everyone else. "Thank you Tori." He said quietly. "I love you."

Tori smiled dreamily. "I love you too." The two shared a deep kiss, the another, then Tori positioned herself on top of Beck as the two tested how well Beck had recovered.

Jade was laying with Cat, her arms wrapped around the redhead that was in front of her, Cat using Jade as a pillow as they watched old episodes of Drake and Josh. Jade was absent minded as she fiddled with Cat's hands while they watched. The past few weeks had been hard, a crushing burden weighing on Jade's soul whenever she saw Beck. She didn't want to blame herself, that's not what he would want but she couldn't help but re-live the event over and over again.
