2 weeks later

Tori had been secretly hoping things would just go back to normal after the big brawl. That the shock of the whole thing would somehow stop the results of her actions from wrecking her life any further. She was of course, completely wrong.

Jade and Beck didn't have any serious injuries but they did have to get a few stitches. Jade had been accompanied by Cat and Tori went with Beck so she could talk to him properly.

Flash back

After patching up the wounds Beck had gained  from the fight, the school nurse gave Beck some I've and left the room to give him and Tori some privacy.

"So..." Tori said awkwardly.

"So." Beck responded dryly.

"Look Beck I am so" but before Tori could finish, Beck spoke up.

"Is it true?" He asked solemnly.
"Did you sleep with Ryder."

"We were drunk!" Tori cried as tears began to break through her eyes.
"It was a mistake it didn't mean anything!"

Beck shook his disbelief as he rubbed his eyes.
"I can't believe you would do this Tori."

"Beck I'm so sorry." Tori responded in a disheveled voice.

"I'm gonna need some time Tori." Beck said as he got up.
"But it looks like we won't be pressing play on our relationship for a while."
And with that, the teary eyed boy left the room.

Return to present

Andre had returned to school the next day and apologised for not being there to help with Ryder. Robbie had also returned to school but he was...different. He was more subdued and looked tired all the time.

As a result of everything that had been happening the group structure of Tori's friends had completely fallen apart. They were now split into 3 groups of 2.

Beck spent most of his time with Cat.
Jade and Andre could usually be seen together around school and Tori hung out with Robbie mostly (occasionally joined by Trina).

Tori wanted to fix everything, make everything go back to normal, to before she betrayed Cat and slept with Ryder, but looking around at all the saddened faces of her friends. She didn't know if that was possible anymore.
________________________________
Jade misses Cat. Jade hates missing people. She hated missing Beck when they first broke up but missing Cat is a million times worse. No matter what Jade was going through, a fight with Beck, issues at home, stressing over a performance, Cat had always been right by Jade's side. But now she couldn't even talk to her. Jade couldn't even find out how she was doing because she wasn't on speaking terms with Beck.

The last time Jade had spoken to Cat was two weeks ago after the fight with Ryder.

Flashback

The fight had left Jade with a few cuts and bruises but nothing major. Despite this, Cat was insistent to come with her.

Jade would never admit it, but she was grateful Cat was there. Jade wasn't overly trusting of doctors and nurses so she always tried to coerce someone into coming with her to the doctors.

What Jade was more grateful for however was actually getting to see Cat properly again. Sure, Jade has gazed at her ex from across the school or classroom, and she's spent approximately a million hours staring at photos of the two but this was different. Jade was seeing the real thing up close, her beautiful brown eyes, her soft red lips that would make the most gorgeous smile. Her scarlet hair. It was also only now that Jade noticed that Cat's natural brown roots were starting to grow out again because it has been so long since Cat dyed it, clearly not having had the energy.
