Halloween plans

"Jade West."

Everyone looked over at Jade as she glanced her eyes around.
"Well don't look so surprised." Jade said confidently.

"Congrats babe!" Cat said excitedly as she bounced in her seat, holding Jade's hand.

"Yeah congrats Jade." Andre said.

"Brilliant so you guys figure out what song Jade'll sing and I'll make sure everything is set up for filming." V said as he clapped his hands together.

"Wait!" Tori said loudly and everyone turned their attention to the girl.
"How come Jade gets to play the main singer?" Tori whined.

"Well." Sikowitz said, trying to find a way to explain it without hurting Tori's feelings.

"It's cause I'm a better singer than you." Jade said cruelly.

Tori gasped. "Are not!"

Jade laughed cruelly. "Am too! Aren't I Babe?" Jade asked, turning to her girlfriend, who was now sitting on Jade's lap as opposed to her own chair.

"Um." Cat said in a small voice. "I don't want to get involved."

"I don't see why I can't be the main singer!" Tori continued to complain.

"Why can't I be the lead singer I'm perfect little Tori Vega." Jade says in her 1940's movie star voice.

"I don't talk like that!" Tori yelled and Jade rolled her eyes.

"Tori the reason you weren't picked for the show was because..." mr Sikowitz began. "It's Halloween, and we want a more intense and scary song and well you're not very scary."

"I can be plenty scary!" Tori argued. Everyone looked at each other and then burst out laughing.
"Hey!" Tori spoke up, trying to her everyone's attention. "I can be scary!" The class laughed even harder which made Tori cross her arms and pouted.

"Tori no offence." Andre began.

"But you're about as scary as a baby with a rubber duck." Rex finished.

"Ms Vega I think what the others are saying." V began. "Is that Ms West is simply more suited for this type of role."

"Yeah you're a great actor Tori." Sikowitz continued. "But Jade wouldn't need to act much different from herself."

"Exactly so suck it up Vega." Jade said cruelly. "I'm doing the song."

"Fine whatever!" Tori whined as she sat back down.

"Don't fret Tori there will still plenty for you to do." Mr Sikowitz guaranteed.

"Well I'll let you guys get back to your lesson." V said as he left the class.

Mr Sikowitz resumed the lesson by talking about acting in environments and how to give believable portrayals when the scene is in an environment.

"Andre, Beck!" The balding teacher pointed at the boys. "Get your sorry buts up here!"
The two boys jogged up onto the stage.
"You two are walking through the artic to get back to base and Andre you have to confess to Beck about having an affair with his wife!" Sikowitz explained.
"And go!"

Beck and Andre started acting the scene, giving believable performances of freezing as they acted. Cat however had gotten herself very comfortable on Jade's lap and could feel herself drifting off. The small girl turned into Jade's chest and rested her arms around her girlfriends neck and buried her face in the crook of Jade's neck.
