Jade groaned in pain as she attempted to sit up. She hated being in this dammed hospital bed, she hated having these bandages wrapped around her, she hated all the nurses constantly bugging her. But most of all are hated not being able to go find Cat.
Jade had decided she no longer has the patience to wait for Sam to get down to L.A. She wanted to find Cat and... okay so she didn't entirely know what she'd say but she'd make it damn good that's for sure.
Or at least that was the plan, but when Cat came bursting through her hospital door she couldn't seem to find the words.
"Oh my god Jade." Cat said as tears pricked at her eyes.
Jade said nothing, her voice seemingly trapped in her throat, unable to say anything. Jade has been dreaming about what she would say when Cat spoke to her again and yet here she was, unable to say a word and instead wordlessly opening and closing her mouth like a fish.Cat rushed over to the injured girl and wrapped her hands around her ex girlfriend, holding her tighter than she probably should considering Jade's condition. Jade returned the embrace and the two stayed like that for what felt like hours and yet still didn't seem like enough time. Cat pulled away and tried to wipe her tears away to no success. "I thought I'd lost you."
Jade smiled weakly, the shock in her finally settling enough to actually speak. "Can't get rid of me that easy." Cat gave a small laugh as the two looked into each others eyes, so many words, so many emotions all kept inside that the two didn't know where to start. The could talk for hours and still not manage to say everything they wanted. So instead they did the only thing they could think of. The two girls leaned in and poured all the pilled up emotions into a long awaited kiss.
Andre and B saw the kiss happen from the doorway and smiled. "Knew those two would work it out." Andre said happily.
"Yeah, which means i owe brother $10." B joked.
"Cmon lets give these two some privacy." Andre suggested as they walked away from the pair.
Cat and Jade deepened the kiss, not wanting to part, even when tears ran down their cheeks, giving the kiss a somewhat salty element, they didn't care. Eventually, however, the two broke for air. They pressed there foreheads together as they breathed heavily.
"I'm sorry Cat." Jade said to the redhead. "For being too obsessed with Beck and Tori, for not putting you first, and for making you come all the way up to the hospital." Jade could keep apologising all day but Cat stopped her by once again pressing her lips to Jade's.
"It's okay Jadey. I'm just so happy you're okay." Cat admitted as she held Jade.
For a while they just stayed like that, not wanting to move, to let go. All the time they spent apart, spent angry at each other. It all seemed so pointless now. Why had they been so angry? Why had they wasted so much time on hatred when the same thing remained true through all the wasted weeks.
"I love you Cat."
"I love you too Jade."
A few weeks later
Jade and Beck had been let out of hospital soon after and the group managed to repair their broken friendships. Thanks to Tori's efforts as well as the near death experience the group realised they would rather spend their last few weeks at Hollywood arts on good terms. Cat and Jade began dating again and Tori and Beck finally pressed play on their relationship.
The group had also all managed to complete all of their final exams and now only 2 weeks remained until the end of their final year, which was mostly being spent preparing for the end of year showcase, which would give the students a chance to prove themselves and show off their skills in front of a large number of people that were searching for new talent. Cat was doing the opening number but there were many other acts that would be a part of the show. There was going to be a big final number being set up by Jade, Andre and Tori (as to not put anymore pressure on Cat) as well as an opportunity for the actors of the school to flex their talents.
