Valentine's Day had arrived and Jade was actually pretty excited for the first time...well ever. Her and Beck had never really done much for Valentine's Day. They'd just end up fucking and that was about as romantic as they got. And while she definitely intended to spend the night doing that with Cat, she had actually put some real effort into her plans. She'd reserved a place at one of Cat's favourite restaurants and gotten tickets to a musical about one of America's founding fathers that Cat hadn't shut up about wanting to see. Also, to no ones surprise, Lane and Sikowitz had made a quick announcement at the start of the day that they were, as many had suspected, dating. It was sweet and the announcement had been met with applause form the entire school.
Like she said, Jade had actually planned this day to be special. Her plan, however, did not include being rudely interrupted by Tori and Beck and taken to the janitors closet.
"Okay what the hell do you want?!" Jade asked with an annoyance as Tori closed the door behind her.
"You have 3 seconds to explain.""Jade we just want to talk." Beck said calmly.
"Well you have a aggressive way of doing it." Jade responded.
"Jade, me and Beck feelings for each other." Tori said plainly.
Jade was surprised at this. Not at the feelings, a blind monkey could see that those two wanted each other. What she was surprised at was Tori so openly admitting it to Jade. The scissor loving girl said nothing, allowing Tori and Beck to continue.
"And we want to start dating." Beck explained.
"And what the hell does this have to do with me?!" Jade asked aggressively.
"Jade we've seen how you react whenever me and Beck are around each other." Tori said. She was right of course. Jade was fully aware of how angry she acted towards the pair when they hung out, it's just who she was.
"So we wanted to tell you ahead of time. That the two of us are getting together." Beck explained.
Jade narrowed her eyes. She wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea, but she couldn't forbid them from dating.
"Whatever do you want you want." Jade said dismissively as he walked out of the closet.Tori and Beck looked at each other.
"Well that works I guess." Beck said."Yeah." Tori responded. A moment of silence befell the pair.
"So what now?" Tori asked awkwardly.Beck placed his hand under Tori's chin and lightly lifted it upwards. Placing a a kiss on her lips. Tori wrapped her arms around the boys neck and deepened the kiss. They eventually broke away and smiled.
"That feels like a good start." Beck said.A while later
Tori and Beck found their group of friends gathered in the hallway of the black box theatre.
"There you guys are!" Tori said with a smile but was immediately shushed by the collective."What's going on?" Beck whispered.
"V and Ryder are in there." Robbie explained quickly.
"Ryder is telling V about everything with his past." Andre added.
"Oh my god really!" Tori said with shock as she tried to see through the door's small window. She knew Ryder was intending to tell V but she'd assumed he was gonna let her know when.
Peeking through the window Tori could see Ryder, with a somber expression on his face, clearly in the process of telling V. Tori couldn't hear what they were saying but by the look of shock, pain and disgust on V's face it was clear he wasn't taking it well. Tori felt sympathy for the pair. Obviously V had a right to be angry but Tori had seen first hand how much effort Ryder had put in to becoming a better person. She just hoped the pair could work through this.
