It was Sunday morning and, due to her incredible resilience, Tori did not have a hangover due to not drinking much at the party. Trina had been pacing around the living room anxiously waiting for her parents to return from their trip up to visit dad's parents.
"Ugh what's taking them so long?!" Trina said with frustration.

"Trina calm down." Tori said softly.
"They'll be here soon."

"I don't know if I can do this!" Trina said with a panic in her eyes.
"They'll yell at me! What if they kick me out? I'm too pretty to live on the streets!"

"Trina." Tori said as she got up from the couch and put her hands reassuringly on Trina's arms. Trina focused her frantic eyes on her sisters calm and steady expression.
"Everything will be okay. You'll be okay. I'm here for you no matter what."

Trina smiled at her loving sister.
"Thanks Tori. You're the best."

Tori smiled back.
"I know."

Just then the front door opened and the Vega parents walked in.
"Hey girls." Holly greeted as she walked to the bin carrying an empty packet.

"Are those donuts?" Tori asked her mother.

"They were." Her father answered quickly as he set his bag by the table.

"Did you bring any for us?" Trina asked in slight disbelief.

"No." Her mother said as she looked at her daughters who stared at her with questioning eyes.
"Did you want some?"

"It would've been nice!" Tori answered.

"Whoops." Holly shrugged.
"Sorry."

"Never mind that!" Tori said while shaking her head to refocus.
"We have something important to tell you."

"You've finally decided to learn how to drive?" David joked.

"Dad it's serious." Trina said in a small voice. Tori noticed her nervousness and placed a reassuring hand on her arm.
"Can we sit down?"

The Vega parents shot each other a confused look but shrugged and sat down opposite from their daughters.
"What's the matter kiddo?" David asked his eldest child.

"Um well you see." Trina gulped as she looked at her sister who gave a reassuring nod.
"I'm pregnant."

"Now don't get mad just let us explain!" Tori added quickly, attempting to quell the anger that she suspected was about to erupt. However, to Tori's surprise, her parents remained fairly level headed.

"Are you okay?" Holly asked with concern.

"Do you know the father?" David asked, with some anger detectable in his tone but mostly the concern for his daughter overwhelmed it.

"Yes I'm okay." Trina said.
"No i don't know the father." Trina winced in expectation for the yelling she believes was about to begin. However, again to Trina's surprise, no yelling occurred.

"Do you know what you're gonna do with the child?" Holly asked her daughter.

Trina glanced towards Tori who gripped her sisters hand and squeezed it tightly. The older sister tried to speak but the words caught in her throat. They chocked her as she tried to force them to come out, only succeeding in releasing a pained sob as Tori pulled her sister into a hug.

Tori looked over at her parents and they instantly understood, almost as if Tori had telepathically told them. The Vega parents sat closer to their pregnant daughter as they tried to reassure her it would all be okay. While they weren't exactly thrilled at their daughters pregnancy they understood yelling at her would do no good.
