A few days later
The mysterious visitors had still yet to make their appearance. The students had all been theorising on what the competition might be and keeping an eye out for the strangers. One of these excited students was of course...
"TORI!" Cat said happily as she waved at the girl.
"Oh hey Cat." Tori responded with a smile.
"Any luck with figuring out what the competition will be?" Robbie asked.
"Sinjin is convinced they're showing up today." Beck said as he approached from his locker.
"Ooh really!" Tori said with excitement.
Jade and Andre walked in from the car park with expressions of confusion.
"Have you guys seen the weird pair of people outside?" Jade asked the group."No!" Tori said with wide eyes, convinced that these were the mysterious visitors.
Just then the front doors swung open drawing all eyes towards it.
A man who looked to be the same age as the group, walked (or more accurately dramatically strutted) in, he had short, messy, blonde hair and wore a long, beige coloured trench coat with a grey scarf. Interesting choice for September.
Next to the man was a woman who in contrast looked pretty normal. She was was wearing a blazer with a white button up shirt under it and long black trousers. She had long brown hair that she had put up into a bun with a pen going through it. (I'm not gonna describe outfits very often so just picture something along these lines whenever these two are in a scene).
"HELLO HOLLYWOOD ARTS!" The extravagantly dressed man yelled into a megaphone while the woman just slowly shook her head next to him.
"Come one come all to Karaoke dokie for our karaoke duet competition!" The man announced. "Sign ups are free and the competition is this Friday at 7:30! Just come talk to me or my sister by the end of the day to sign up!"
Tori turned to the rest of her group. "We should sign up!" She said excitedly.
"I'm signing with Cat." Jade announced and Cat looked at her surprised.
"Didn't you two get lifetime bans?" Beck asked her.
"No the north ridge girls dropped them after they got owned by me." Tori said confidently. "And their dad doesn't even own the place anymore."
"So I'm singing with Cat." Jade repeated.
"Okay." Tori said as she turned her attention to Andre. "Sing with me?" She asked excitedly.
"I dunno Tori." Andre responded. "I don't know if I'm feeling it."
"Oh cmon." Tori insisted. "It'll be a good stress relief."
"Yeah and you're not a terrible singer." Jade said. "Maybe you'll make Tori sound passable."
"Ha ha." Tori said sarcastically before looking at Andre. "So will you do it?" Tori said with puppy dog eyes.
Andre sighed. "Alright. But only cause those puppy eyes are impossible to say no to." Tori smiled and hugged Andre.
The group of 6 (7 counting Rex) reached the 2 strangers and the blonde one looked at them with excitement.
"Why hello hello students of the great school of Hollywood arts." He said. "Are you here about the competition?""Yeppi di doo." Tori said happily as she took another sip of her water.
"Well excellentaladingdong." The guy responded.
