"Michael, you better be good at parkour because you need to go up the fence and to the gym roof, after the gym roof go up the platform to the main building roof, use your talky if you see anything coming in the parking lot, and I mean anything." I hushed my tone, we were all on the soccer field, since there's no cameras out here, plus it's pitch dark so they couldn't zoom in on us even if they tried. I turned to Aubrey. "Bre, you're staying down here, you're the eyes of the back of Michael's head. Stay in the front entrance and same thing, use your talky even if you hear a branch moving in the wind. The rest of us will climb that tree and Vanna will be watch dog outside the classroom incase the authorities get through the outside watchdogs and use another entrance." I explained
"Why don't you just lock pick the door and that way I don't get runs in my tights or break my gel nails." Savannah complained like it was her life purpose on this earth.
I rolled my eyes. "We have to avoid cameras at all cost, theres no cameras in the tree or in the class, Sav." I chuckled a bit explaining it, she was a bit slow. But then again she's never been on a mission like this before, nothing this big, always something minor. "Alright?" I waited for an answer but nobody said anything. "Let's go team." I took a glance at everyone, it felt like this was all in slow motion. We were all wearing complete black, from Savannah in his black tights, black high waisted shorts and black crop top, to Calum's matching Adidas track pants and jacket. "Oh, and Ashton, just don't fuck up. You're the lookout or extra, do what you can." I sighed, nodding in an indication to go. I hovered my hand, in the middle of all of us. Nobody complied. "Come on lads." I cheered. Clearly, nobody is that into this mission as I am. Calum placed his cold hand on top of mine, he was nervous. I could tell by the clammy and sweaty hands that wouldn't stop shaking. Ashton followed, then Bre, then Riley, and then Michael. I glanced over at Sav off in the corner, gnawing on the tip of her fake fingernails. "Sav." I called, nodding my head to come forward. I caught her attention like a dog in a park. She reached in, not fully touching the top of Michael's hand.
Typical.
"Don't fucking fuck this up, that's all we have to do." I smiled.

We split into groups: Calum, Riley, Ashton, Savannah, and I ran towards the rear end of the school. Aubrey stayed at the front entrance because she couldn't care less if she was alone at night or not, she was a type of fearless I adored. Michael had to run towards the fences, balancing atop, to get to the roof of the base, then onto the theatre roof which was the tallest. I quickly spotted the massive tree, examining it as I slowed down. I swung the other strap of my backpack onto my cold shoulder.
"I'll go first then." I broke the silence, no one wanted to climb up as much as I did. I swiftly grabbed the branch on my left, lifting my body onto the base of the tree. I walked with one foot in front of the other, making sure to stay dead in the middle of the branch. My heartbeat wasn't beating fast enough, I needed more adrenaline. I rested my open hand on the window, trying to push up. It opened with one click. I knew that stupid teacher would be to clueless to lock anything. I singled the rest, making a "come on, it's safe." motion with my unoccupied hand. I swung my legs in first, followed by the rest of me. It was a blue type of darkness, it was nice not to hear a ratty voice yelling at me everyday while I skipped ahead on too-easy-of-lessons. It's not my fault I was blessed with such amazing Chemistry skills and knowledge. It's so silent. Two of my favourite things, chemistry and silence. Too bad these amateurs are going to ruin it for me in 3... 2...
"Fuck, I think I hit my balls on the window ledge." Calum shouted.
"Shhh." I spazzed.
"Babe, there's no one in this school. Calm down." Even in the pitch dark I could see Asthon's fucking adorable side smirk.
"They have over night security you idiot. Have you ever been to school?" I said.
"Geez, what's with your girlfriend?" Riley nudged Ashton's arm, passing him and giggling at her sarcastic joke that I didn't have the effort to comment on or even correct. So I just let this one slide.
We were all scanning the room. I assumed everyone already forgot about why we were here, and not to play school. Riley and Calum zoomed to the back room, where his office and chemicals were.
"Vandalism first-" I started.
"Chemicals second." Ashton smirked, finishing my sentence for me. How cute, and puke worthy.
"Pass me the red paint, Irwin." I stood in front of the class, like I was about to teach a lesson in the pitch dark with no student at their desk.
"Irwin. That's some kinky shit." Ashton giggled as he laid the black adidas football bag on the teacher's desk. He unzipped it open quick, as I could hear him rummaging through it behind me. I stared at the room, thinking of where to start.
I lifted my right arm, and stared at my apple watch, flipping to my notes, and smiled. I was so devious, I even adored myself.
"Uhm." Ashton elongated.
"Don't tell me." I stood, still with my back towards everyone. Everyone was wandering the room and doing literally nothing.
"We forgot it." Ashton said very slow.
I rubbed my forehead with my hand, exhaling slow and deep. Out of all the things, we fuck up this part. I instantly thought of the only thing that could help. "I'll go down to the art room." I blurted, turning to everyone, seeing their faces dart towards mine, instantly catching their attention.
"That's not in the plan." Calum said, shaky.
"I don't care. What else are we supposed to do, Hood?" I squinted my eyes at him, pursing my lips just a tad.
"You said never to disobey the plan." Calum spoke like a 10 year old who was trying to defend himself.
"My plan, my problem." I tilted my head, my lips just starting to smile.
I could hear everyones sigh simultaneously exhale. It was quite the laugh, honestly.
"How?" Ashton asked. "There's no way you can get in the art room through the outside."
"I climb back down that tree, hide from all the camera's views, go in from the robotics room door, that I will pick into, then I somehow get out of the camera's view in that hall and go across to the art room, that I will pick into as well. Then from there I steal some red paint, and do the same thing but backwards. I'll be a minute. Won't even notice I'm gone." I winked.
"Won't the art teacher know the red paint's gone?" Riley said.
"I'll put it back, obviously." I had so much confidence in myself. I knew I could do this without a flaw.
"If you're not back in fucking 10 minutes, then we're leaving and ditching this prank and going to meet in the jeep. Got it?" Ashton was like my father, but worse. He was a protective young lad, and I appreciate that. Just another way I can go against the rules. Which is basically a habit of mine.
I smirk, looking everyone dead in the eyes. I tapped on my watch, setting a timer for exactly 10 minutes. I already knew I would be back before the alarm would go off. It's kind of like a game. I have to be back, or else my watch will make a noise, perhaps giving myself away to the school security.
"Trust me." I started walking towards the closed windows, extending my arm to open it up. "I mean, I am Brinley. Aren't I?"
