Okay bye and enjoy this chapter even though it's just a filler for the next ones ahead shhhhh.

Brinley

I clutched my books close to my chest as I pass through the large crowd of students that just decided to stop in the middle of the hallway to have a meeting or something, it's only monday and all the popular kids are acting like they haven't seen each other in 10 years. I finally made my way through the people, heading straight to my locker in the other side of the school. As I was opening my locker I spotted the devil headed boy beside me, doing the same.

Luke and I both got lockers beside each other, back when we were dating, but now the principals wont let us move, since we basically begged to be put in that specific place for ages.

"Hello Brinley," He sounded so annoyed, he always does when he's talking to me.

"Hi, Hemmings."

"Ouch, the last name, someones angry." He smirks, I stare at his ego filled eyes.

"I think it's better if we don't talk." I spat.

"Hey, just because your boyfriend can't fight, doesn't mean you have to be so-"

"What? what do you mean?" I lightly giggle.

Ashton was one of the most persuasive, tough, and easily angered person I know, so hearing him not being able to fight had to be a lie.

"He snuck into my house, thinking I wasn't awake, he spray painted something on my wall, so I jumped him, and that's why he has a massive black eye."  He laughs at his own words, proud of what he's done.

"Yeah because you owe him money." I spat, shutting my locker.

"Don't you mean he owes me money?"

I laugh at what he says, but then I look at his face, he was as confused as I was. If Luke was lying you could tell, but he did look so convincing this time.

"Ashton said you owe him money? Why would he owe you money?"

As Luke was about to open his mouth, his face dimmed. "Boyfriend, at 9 o'clock."

I look straight to my left, it was Ashton, with a shining smile on his face. I tried to put a fake smile on.

"I should go, don't want to start another fight again." He closes his locker, heading the same way Ashton was coming from.

"Were you talking to him?" He leans on the locker, taking off his shades.

"Uhm- no, I just got here, he probably saw me then left." I lied.

"Oh," I uncross my arms, turning the other way, towards the school entrance. "So, did you leave school early today?"

"Uh- yeah sorry, I was in such a rush, I had to drive here myself."

Ashton is graduated from school, but he usually drops me off at school because he says "I need time to kill anyway." But I got my car keys back again, because my parents took them away for a long time, for the reason being that I sneak out too much, and that's usually with Ashton. But Ashton still visits me at school, nonetheless, he says he doesn't mind but I doubt that.

"So I presume you're driving back home right?" He follows beside me, hands resting in his pockets.

"Yeah, sorry. Maybe next time or something." I shift myself, so I was standing right in front of Ashton.

"Oh, I came here to come pick you up, I was wondering if you're busy today?"

"I don't know, I might be going to the mall with Aubrey, Michael, and Nicole." I lied again.

He puts on the saddest face I've seen, pouting down at me.

"But I can see if I can reschedule?" I offer.

Ashton's face instantly brightens up. "That would be lovely."

"Where are we going?" I start to laugh. Ashton was tugging my arms and I loosely held my freshly lit cigarette in the other.

"Does it matter?" He slows down. "Here." He smiles widely, looking up at the area he's chosen.

"What?" I was confused as to where we were.

Ashton dragged me, literally, on a one hour walk to nowhere, to get to a park of some sorts.

"What is this place?"

"Woodland park or something."

It was a complete grassed over field, surrounded by daisies, with a little pond on the side. It looked quite beautiful with the sun just setting.

"Holy shit, Irwin." I take a step closer, embracing the nature scent. "I love daisies."

"Figures." He grabs me hand once more.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I inhale my cigarette I forgot I still had.

"C'mon." He laughs, whilst tugging me into the tall grass, causing me to drop my already finished, cigarette.
