Pabalik-balik ang tingin ko kay Leon mula pa kanina pero nang mahuli ako nito isang beses ay hindi na ako umulit pa. Namula ang muka ko nang maalala na naman ang ibinulong nito sa'kin. He said I'm always beautiful...

"You've been zoning out for 20 minutes," Justin chuckled. "Kanina ka pa tulala. 'Wag mo na 'kong isipin, kalapit mo na naman ako,"

Umiling ako at sumabay sa pagtawa nito. Inaya ako nito patungong bar at sumama na rin ako dahil ubos na ang nasa baso ko. Saktong naroon si Marjorie na agad kong binati.

"Kararating mo lang?"

"Of course not! I'm here kanina pa, I just don't have energy to socialize, you know," she rolls her eyes as I laugh at her statement. "Anyway, I saw this guy kanina, he's really my type but I don't know his name,"

"Where? Baka kilala ko,"

My forehead creased when her brow shot up as she looks at my back. "Oh, hi Silva!" Marjorie laughs before whispering, "He's with the guy,"

Tila slow motion pa ang pag harap ko kay Leon at sa kalapit nitong si Nikko.

"Hirap mong hagilapin," tawa ni Nikko at nakipag beso sa'kin. Napaatras ito kaya napalingon ako sa gilid n'ya at nakita si Leon's hawak ang braso nito.

He only smirked at me and I averted my eyes.

"Ah, Marjorie this is Nikko. Nikko, Marjorie,"

"Oh, parang kilala kita," Nikko uttered.

"Let's just enjoy this night and forget where you saw me first," Marjorie forced a smile and shakes Nikko's hands.

Nagkatinginan kami. We both know he finds her familiar because she's the famous Mayors's daughter. I know she wouldn't want to spoil the moment.

The rest of the party, I was with Marjorie together with Leon and Nikko because apparently, these two clicked and Marjorie finds Nikko attractive which she boldly declared. Buong panahong 'yon tahimik lang ako at panay ang iwas kay Leon. Kung hindi lang talaga dahil kay Marjorie, nanakbo na ako paalis doon, but she said she wants me there and so did I.

May isinusulat ako nang may nagpatong ng kamay sa desk ko. Nang iangat ko ang tingin ay ang nakangising muka ni Justin ang sumalubong sa'kin.

"Why?"

He didn't say anything and just put a box of Ferrero on my desk.

"Justin..." I bit my lip as I look at him. "Ano 'to?"

"I've been thinking about this for so long. Grade 11 pa yata," he laughs. "I like you. Mangliligaw ako, Callie."

Nakagat ko pa lalo ang labi ko.

I don't want to lose another friend...

"First of all, I can't eat this because I'm allergic to nuts. Sorry," I laugh to lighten up the mood.

"Ha?! Hindi ko alam! Sorry, ibibili kita ng bago—"

Natigil ito nang hawakan ko ang palapulsuhan n'ya habang sinusubkan n'yang kuhain ang chocolate.

"Justin, kaibigan lang talaga..." pinisil ko ang kamay nito.

I saw how his shoulder go down as his eyes fell into our hands.

"I don't want to lose another friend, Justin. You know what happened between Sebastian and I," I glance at Sebastian and I caught him looking at us but he immediately averted his gaze.
