I was wrong when I thought I'd see Leon the next day after he left me there for unknown reason. I thought he'd come to me and explain why he left, but he didn't.

It's been five days since that day and aside from his messages, he's nowhere to be found.

It's like going through that stage again. The only difference is he didn't block me this time and he keeps on messaging me.

Leon:

Did you received the lunch that I bought you? I hope you like it. I miss you.

Ako:

Yes.

How can I take him again if there's so many things that he's keeping from me?

I lay down on my swivel chair and sunk into my emotions. Amidst feeling myself, Denver burst into my office. I can't help but to sigh. Sigh of relief, maybe.

"I still have a meeting by three,"

Tumawa s'ya. "Hindi naman kita aayain! May ipakikita lang ako sa'yo. Aside from doing fashion, susundin ko na siguro ang ama ko sa gusto n'yang hacienda." He rolls his eyes.

"That's good to hear. Pero paano 'yon? You'll stay there to maintain it,"

"Probably. I'm thinking of going north. Laoag, gano'n. Look at these," sabay pakita n'ya ng kan'yang tablet.

I'm happy that instead of sulking into depths of loneliness in his condo, he's doing things for diversion.

"I think this one's better. Mas malaki and maganda rin 'yung location,"

"I know right! Ito rin ang bet ko e," humalakhak s'ya habang tinitingnan ang iba pang litrato ng lugar.

"Teka nga, ang tamlay mo girl. 'Di ba ako 'yung iniwan at pinagpalit?"

Umirap ako at natawa. "I'm just tired,"

"Kulang ka lang sa Vitamin Leon! Nasaan na ba iyon?"

Nagkibit balikat lang ako at bahagyang napapikit.

Hindi ko alam. Bahala na s'ya sa buhay n'ya.

A week came by and he's still not here. Or maybe he's here, hindi lang nagpapakita. Baka busy... saan naman?

"You're not a texter type of person, aren't you?" Malaki ang ngiti ni Adonis.

I saw him on a business meeting yesterday and he immediately approach me and invite me for lunch. Ngayon ay nagrereklamo na s'ya sa hindi ko pagre-reply. Nakalimutan ko lang naman!

"Nakalimutan ko lang talagang mag reply," natawa ako.

"Or you're busy texting other guys?"

"Oh no," I chuckle. "I'm probably not really into texting then."

Humalakhak s'ya.

"I really like your vibe."

Lalo akong natawa. Bahagya akong naiilang pero nasasanay na rin sa pagsasabi n'yang gusto n'ya ako. He just sounds so casual saying that as if he already said it to many girls.

"Thank you. You're funny, Adonis."

"Am I a clown?"

"No!" I burst into laughter.

Sa gitna nang tawanan naming dalawa ay ang pag flash ng bagong mensahe ni Leon sa aking cellphone.

"Your boyfriend?"
