It had been a few months since the Battle of Bright Moon and the Fright Zone was changing to say the least. (Y/N) was still under a sleeping spell while the rest of us waited patiently for her to wake up. Indi sat with (Y/N) practically every day since we got back from Moon Manor.
"Hey," I say, my tail reaching out to softly stroke Indi's back. "Hey," Indi replies quietly, not bothering to turn around to face me. "How's she doing?" I ask cautiously, not wanting to upset Indi. "The same," Indi answers quickly, her voice cold and impatient. I wait a while before responding, my eyes settling on the shadow of a figure underneath the door. The door hisses open, revealing Lonnie, a concerned expression plastered on her face. "Maybe we should take a break, give someone else a chance to look after her," I suggest, reaching out to grab Indi's hand gently. Indi's eyes fall on our hands before making their way up to look at me. "Okay," she agrees warmly, getting up from her place on the bed. We make our way out of the door, acknowledging Lonnie as we leave.

*(Y/N)'s POV
I hear the distant sound of footsteps begin approaching my bed. By the weight of the steps, I can only assume that it's Lonnie. Even in my sleeping spell, I could recognize her very presence. I feel her sit down softly and grab my hand. She sits quietly for a while, watching me, I presume. "Hey," Lonnie says quietly into my ear, using her free hand to stroke my hair. Even though I can't respond, I can feel her every touch, her every breath against my skin. My body aches for more but I fight the feeling, resisting the urge to finally wake myself up. "We're all waiting for you," I hear Lonnie say softly, a small hint of annoyance playing in her tone. "I know this may be hard for you," she continues, "but I want you to know, I never forgot about you, about us," Lonnie pauses, sniffling slightly. I listen harder, waiting for her to continue. "I should've told you about Kyle and Rogelio sooner, I'm sorry, and I should've gone with you the night you left for Brotheria," Lonnie admits, squeezing my hand tighter as she continues, "I can't imagine what it was like for you there but it looks like you did well for yourself," she says in between a small laugh. "I like her, you know, Indigo, she compliments you," Lonnie says as I hear a small smile spread across her face. "You seem happy," she pauses, "loved", Lonnie emphasizes, letting out a small sigh. "Loved," the word repeats in my mind again and again. My body tenses slightly and relaxes as the sound of Lonnie's voice continues to flow inside of my mind. "I wish things happened differently and I wish that I didn't have to cause you any pain but we're living life inside of the Horde, where everything was meant to hurt. You have your destiny as the Horde's all-powerful Lord and well, I have mines, the daughter of one of the force captains and I guess what I'm trying to say is that although I love you, I have to set you free and you have to set me free," Lonnie proclaims as her voice breaks and small tears begin wetting my palm. A silence falls over the room as the warmth of Lonnie's body begins embracing my own. Her lips softly touch mines quickly before hardening themselves passionately onto mines.
"Save me", a voice echoes in my mind, interrupting the moment. "Save me!" the voice cries out again, this time more urgently, screaming as if it were in danger. I recognized the voice, "Mom?" I question but there was no answer. "Shadow Weaver!" I yell, anger rising in my voice. "Even in a coma, you're still annoying!" I yell out impatiently. Images of a glowing blue symbol, three moons, Catra's hair, and voice, and black smoke flash around in my head quickly before I'm snatched awake, breathing heavily as my eyesight comes into focus. I put a shaky hand to my throat, barely able to catch my breath. I swear my heart was beating so fast I could feel it pounding against my chest, looking for a way to escape. "Where is she?" I ask shakily, turning my attention to Lonnie, her face heavy with shock. "Where is who?" Lonnie questions back quickly, her body hardening into a defensive stance. "My mom," I demand, my eyes piercing coldly through Lonnie's death stare. Lonnie's body immediately relaxes at the mention of Shadow Weaver and her eyes begin scanning the room quickly, awkwardly. "Um," she hesitates, her eyes still avoiding mine. "Where is she?" I question again, doing my best to contain my anger.
