ELEANOR'S POV
"Yeah you heard me, don't talk to her like that," Isaac continued.
I looked at him from next to Stiles, with an astonished glued look on my face. Everyone was quiet, staring at Isaac.
"Are you defending her?" Derek questioned crossing his arms.
Isaac took a deep breath and spoke again,
"Yeah, you got a problem with that?" he said and glanced over to me with a small smile. I smiled back.
Derek stayed quiet. He turned to face the window, still with his arms crossed.
"So..." he began. "Boyd and Erica?" he finished and turned back to face the pack. I thought to stay as slient as possible, would probably be the best choice for me so I didn't say anything.
"We first have to figure out where exactly they are," Scott said.
"How are we supposed to do that? We have no trace of their scent or anything," said Isaac.
Derek turned to face Isaac. "You were there, right?" he said.
"Yeah, but I don't remember anything," Isaac said and leaned against a wooden pole behind him.
"We can help you remember, I mean since' Peter is here and Deaton would probably also know how to wake up those memories in your mind," Derek said walking around in front of the window.
"But how are they gonna be able to do it?" Isaac asked furrowing his eyebrows.
There was a moment of silence. Suddenly Peter stood up from the small stairs in the corner of the loft. "I have my ways," he said looking at his claws.
"Wait what the hell are you gonna do with those?" Stiles asked shocked.
"Relax kid, it's gonna be fine," Peter said walking towards all of us.
I heard Isaac swallow with a big gulp and looked like he was about say something.
"Maybe we shouldn't do this straight away," he said.
"You're right, we shouldn't," Derek spoke up. "It's way too late for that anyway,"
-------
As I was about to leave the loft, I felt someone gripping onto my arm. I quickly turned my head to see who it was.
"Hey, are you okay?" said Isaac. I gave him a small smile before shaking off his strong grip of my arm.
"I'm fine," I said and walked out of the loft.
-------
I was walking towards my car, but suddenly I heard a familiar voice calling my name. It was Scott.
"Eleanor, wait up!" he shouted. I stopped and turned around to see Scott running towards me.
"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked putting a hand on my shoulder. I shook it off.
"Would everyone just stop asking that?!" I exclaimed. Scott rolled his eyes and a little sad look appeared on his face.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you," I said quietly and faced to the ground.
"It's okay," he said with a small but very fake smile.
"I'm just not having the best day today and I'm taking it out on you and Derek calling me an idiot didn't really help my mood at all," I said.
"Wait did something happen in school today?" he asked worried.
"No, I'm just not feeling so great today," I said and gave him a little smile so he wouldn't be worried about me.
"Because you can always tell me," he said and took a hold of my hand.
Scott and I were really good friends and I could really trust him with anything, including my life. He was more like a brother to me than a friend to be honest.
"I know," I said before pulling him into a hug.
-------
The next day I went to school, as normal as always. I walked upto my locker and opened it. I shoved a few books inside before slamming it shut.
As I slammed it shut, I glanced to the other side of the hallway, to see Isaac, helplessly flicking through some notebook, but I saw through him, that it wasn't the actual thing he was doing. I walked to the other side. When I got there he slammed the notebook shut and weirdly flicked his other arm in the air, behind his head.
"Hi," he said nervously and at the same time he bumped into someone's locker, making a loud bang, that slightly made me jump.
"Hi," I replied with a chuckle.
"So, about yesterday-" he began before I cut him off.
"Uhm Isaac, I'm fine, I know Derek can be like that sometimes," I said smiling.
"No, I mean I hope you didn't get the wrong idea about me defending you or anything," he continued.
"What do you mean?" I asked him confused, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I mean... I don't know," he said, even he was questioning himself about it.
"You know what, just forget about it," I said lifting my shoulders. From the corner of my eye, I saw Stiles down the hallway messing with his locker.
"Ehm, sorry but I gotta go now, so I'll see you around," I said and quickly rushed away, before he got to say anything.
"STILES," I shouted running towards him. He looked up from his locker and turned to face the direction I was coming from.
"Were you just talking to Isa-" he said pointing at Isaac squinching his eyes.
"Nope!" I exclaimed and shut his locker hard. "We really have to get to english class!"
"What's the rush?" he asked. I grabbed his arm and pulled him with me.
"Wait Eleanor, why are you in a rush?" he shouted from behind me.
"I'm not rushing, I'm just really excited!" I squeeled.
"Why the hell are you excited for english?" he asked me, slowing down my random speed towards the classroom. I stopped at a corner and grabbed the top of his plaid shirt to pull him behind the corner.
"Yeah, sorry about that," I said exhaling.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" he yelled.
"Ssshh, keep your voice down," I said to him blocking his mouth with my hand for a while to keep him quiet, but soon I let go.
"Now, please tell me what the hell is going on!" he asked with a frustrated tone to his voice.
"Okay, okay! Isaac is stalking me," I explained.
He let out a laugh. "Stalking you? Are you serious?"
I nodded and took a step closer to him.
"What do you mean by stalking?" he asked with a ridiculous grin on his face.
I gave him a slap on the side of his arm. "Stiles it's not funny! It's annoying me!"
"What can I do about it then?" he asked chuckling.
"I never asked for you to do anything about it!" I said to him.
"Okay, well if you need help, I'm not the one to give it to you," he said and walked away giving me a small pat on the shoulder.
I stared at the blank wall with an extremely pissed look on my face. I didn't want to become especially close with Isaac. I was still confused about what he said. That was probably the longest conversation I had ever had with him.
I turned around and walked to the classroom, like nothing had ever happened.
