TIME SKIP: So, if you by now haven't noticed that the story in this fanfic is based on season 3, but I have slightly changed it to fit into the plot. After the last chapter a few days have gone by and now the cross country team are heading to the cross country competition and head to the motel in the school bus. Derek is dead (at least everyone thinks so) from the battle with the alpha pack. Eleanor, Lydia and Allison are almost in good terms. I'm sorry I didn't right all of this, but since Eleanor wasn't really apart of all of it I thought it didn't really matter, that I didn't include in the story.

ELEANOR'S POV:

It was hot as hell. California seemed to be at it's hottest right now and we definitely all felt it in the sweaty school bus. Things were hectic.

Derek was dead. Everyone was pretty quiet, but especially Scott and Isaac. Allison, Lydia and I had followed the school bus, because we were worried about the boys.

The whole atmosphere in the bus felt tense. I sat next to Isaac and I'm pretty sure we hadn't talked the entire journey. He kept falling asleep once in a while and I just sat next to him doing nothing.

"20 MINUTES! THEN WE ARE AT THE MOTEL!" Coach yelled from the front of the bus.

The yelling seemed to pretty much wake up everyone. I felt Isaac shuffling next to me, so I turned to look. He had been asleep and was now stretching his arms in the air.

"Morning," I joked.

"Huh?" he replied making me giggle slightly.

"What's funny?" he asked sounding confused.

"Nothing," I lied.

"Then why were you giggling?" he asked leaning closer to me.

"Well, you looked cute when you woke up," I said quietly.

"Oh," he chuckled.

I looked at him and smiled.

"It's nice to hear your laugh again,"

"You know exactly why I haven't laughed in a few days," he replied and leaned his head against the window. "But that's in the past now," he sat straight and placed his hand on my knee.

"It's okay to feel sad about it," I said. "I mean Derek was a really important person,"

"I really don't wanna talk about what happened right now," Isaac interrupted.

"Yeah we don't have to talk about it," I sighed.

He put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him stroking the side of my right arm. He leaned his head on top of mine and at the same time he pulled me into a full embrace.

"Thank you for being here," Isaac whispered.

"I'm happy I am," I replied and closed my eyes for a minute.

The beautiful moment was interrupted by no other than Stiles.

"Guys do you seriously have to do that in here?" he yelled from a few seat rows behind us.

"Stiles shut up," Isaac yelled back, making me chuckle quietly.

"Jesus, I'm really not up for that romantic-" Stiles cut himself off, whilst Isaac had placed his lips onto mine and was now kissing me passionately.

"Stuff..." he finished and the backseat just faded into awkward silence.

Isaac smiled into the kiss. I opened my other eye to see him almost bursting out into laughter.
