Chapter Twenty-Five: Absolute Zero

Laughter came from the bushes, and a students head popped out with mid length spiky beige coloured hair, and teeth that sat on the outside of his skin with no noticeable lips. "Nice going, Kodai!" the boy laughed. "You've managed to scare everybody so far, you big creeper!"

From the opposite side of the bushes, Itsuka Kendo appeared with long orange hair in a high ponytail reaching to her lower back, with bangs splitting in parts on her face. "You're the star of the night!" she praised her classmate, Yui Kodai, standing in the middle of the pathway with a white dress, and short black hair bobbing on her shoulders.

"I cannot get over how funny Bakugou and Todoroki where!" Juzo Honenuki laughed, remembering the two stoic boys who were walking by, had frozen and slightly gasped when Kodai's head emerged from the ground due to Juzo Honenuki's softening Quirk. "I thought they were tough!"

The smell of chard burning smoke filled the forest air intoxicating the nostrils of the students spread around the woods waiting in hiding to scare the opposing class as they walked the path.

"Hey, smell that?" Itsuka Kendo announced, smelling the air. "I think there's something burning nearby."

A musty pink smoke began to flood the forest floor rolling waves and seeping through the trees and foliage.

"Hey, now that you mention it, it's kinda smokey out here." Juzo Honenuki said, noticing the hazy and foggy air. "Maybe Bakugou and Todoroki got so scared they..." Juzo Honenuki trailed off, feeling drowsy, and he fell forward in a coma.

"Honenuki!" Kendo shouted seeing her classmate fall unconscious. She gasped and held a hand over her mouth. "Yui, don't breath in!" her hand enlarged to engulf her friend to keep her safe from the smoke. "The smoke, it's poisonous!"

There was black smoke rising from the mountains with an ominous blue light. Dabi set the forest alight with blue flames to close in the students and Pro Hero's to the training fields, while the other side had been engulfed in a poisonous gas. He stood among his flames that danced in his bright blue eyes that reflected the colour of his blue flame. He had hand pressed to the bark, with flames rushing to engulf the tree and spread like an unchokable wildfire.

In a group waiting at the main point of the training yard, Pro Heroes, Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, and Tiger, were standing in a clearing to conduct the group of remaining students for the activity of scare tactic — Izuku Midoriya, Minoru Mineta, Tenya Iida, and Mashirao Ojiro.

"What's this foul smell in the air?" Pixie-Bob says foully, sniffing the air. Long blonde hair reached to her shoulders, that's mostly combed back save for her bangs sitting over the side of her face, with a headset resembling cat ears, and cat paws designed as gloves. Pixie-Bob wears a light blue version of the Pussycat's Hero costume. She draws two blue dots on her cheeks whenever she wears it. Her costume also includes a tinted visor that she uses with her Quirk.

"You see that?" Izuku Midoriya said gazing to the alight mountain-side illuminate with blue light rising with black smoke.

"Black smoke?"

"Has something been set ablaze?" Tenya Iida asked.

"Maybe a fire on the mountain?" Mashirao Ojiro suggested.

A pink aura engulfed Pixie-Bob's form and she levitated off the ground and flew backwards at high speeds. "Hey, what's happening—!?" she screamed.

"Pixie-Bob!" her teammate, Mandalay shouted as she flew backwards. Mandalay is a woman with brown eyes and red hair styled into three bangs going across her face. Mandalay wears a red version of the Pussycat's Hero costumes and as part of her costume, she draws red markings beneath her eyes, which resemble cat whiskers.
