She hasn't felt this sick since... A guttural depth in her stomach made her regurgitate her breakfast and last nights munchies raid. She felt sticky all over. Everything was aching and not just her head. Even after she finished vomiting her body still urged her to get rid of what was in her system by vomiting the water in her stomach. And when that ran out - she was choking on her own stomach acid. It burned all up her throat and into her lungs.
It felt like she was on fire from the inside.
What a horrible feeling.
Miya's nails bore into the bark of the tree she used to vomit at. She remembers what relapsing is like now. She pushed away from the tree and kept going. Clutching her stomach, hunched over, stumbling, crying, bleeding. God, her nose wont stop bleeding. She falls again.
(Falling into the snow again.)
She's remembering things she doesn't want to remember. The smug grin of his face over her small body; forced to do nothing and take it. Freezing temperatures - cold snow crunching under bare feet. A large shirt to protect her from the harsh conditions. So cold she can't feel her toes - lips are blue.
"Stop." she demands of herself. She doesn't want to remember running through the snow to escape; fingers and toes turning blue - teeth chattering. "Stop!" she pulls at her hair. Miya turns so suddenly that Dark Matter whips through the nearest set of trees. Bark explodes and the crackling of the trees creak as they topple over. The Earth rumbles as they hit the soft ground. Birds scream into the sky. Leaves are still falling.
Her eyes stare wildly at the fallen group of trees separated from their trunks. The wood sticks up in jagged cruel ways, like spikes and splinters of a nail bed.
She hears ruffling.
HE'S BEHIND HER. HE'S COME TO TAKE HER BACK.
Miya spins on her knees so quickly she doesn't take the time to open her eyes. "I won't go back!" She screamed, and flicked her finger. She freezes. She killed him. He's dead. It's not him. It's not him. It's not him. It's not him. It's not him. Miya can't open her eyes. She keeps them shut in fear of seeing him.
There's the sound of static crackling and she can't figure out if it was the Doctor speaking to her on the comms or a voice in her head. "You need to pull yourself together, Stardust. We can't have you going crazy on us now, can we? Ho ho ho. Spinner is right you know."
"Get out of my head." she demands, with a cry. She puts a hand to her robbing temple. Eyes still screwed shut.
"I'm not in your head, ho ho ho! What would Shigaraki think of this if he saw you like this? Better yet, think of your friends - Dabi?"
"I think I'm losing my mind."
The Doctor smile behind his desk. He watches Stardust's voice waver on the screen as she speaks. She is so broken. All For One would love to get his hands on her if he was here right now. The Doctor can imagine what he would only do. Maybe set her off and let her explode? Or... FIX... her mind?
The Doctor presses on a button and speaks, "Why don't you go back to your friends, hm?" He hears her make a sound between a cry and choking.
"I'm sick, Doc."
He smiled. "Ho ho ho, I know."
"I can't be helped, can I?"
His smile gets wider. "No..." he dragged on. "But you can be fixed of sorts, ho ho ho. I can bring you here to Shigaraki if you want?" He casually suggested. "I would love to take a peak into that brilliant mind of yours. I've heard you're very smart."
