Miya was first to enter the abandoned room where the League was gathered. The office apartment was run down with old musty smell circling the air. The blinds were broken and drawn shut with little sunlight penetrating the room. The paint on the walls was peeling and brown. The tiles on the floor were dark, dirty and broken.
This was a backup hideout, a drastic difference from Tomura's skyscraper apartment.
"Hey, big sis!" Toga greeted, with a warm smile from an old desk beneath a window with broken shutters.
Dabi who was lounging on an empty spring cot with an arm slung over a lifted knee, lifted his head, watching her intently. She didn't even look at him.
Spinner was sitting on a another desk with legs and arms crossed. Compress sat in a chair missing his left arm. Twice jumped up from an old leather couch sitting in the middle of the room and finally, Giran.
Giran greeted Miya as she sauntered through the doorway with Tomura following behind. "Oh, hey there." he greeted, with a toothless grin. "Long time no see, princess. How have things been hanging?" Giran's sly eyes were transfixed on the rogue Hero as he put out his cigarette bud on the table and the stench of smoke rises into the air.
Miya scoffed, and stood beside Tomura. She folded her arms. "Lay off." she warned. "Don't call me that stupid name. I'm already in a bad mood."
"You're always in a bad mood." Dabi stated, earning a disdainful look from Miya, who in return sported a snide grin on his purple lip.
"What happened with the Shie Hissaikai?" Asked Giran.
"I just wanna..." Miya growled, insinuating her hands as if to choke someone. "I hate that Overhaul guy!"
"What happened?"
"He thinks he's better than us, that's what."
Giran looked upon Dabi and Stardust with confusion. It seemed tense. He motioned a thumb to them in clear confusion and Toga shrugged her shoulders with a wiggle of her eyebrows. "Ah." Giran hums, getting the picture.
(Dabi scored himself lucky.)
Giran scoffed at the thought. "So, do you mind telling us how the meeting went, and why Star is so worked up?" All eyes were turned to Tomura awaiting an answer.
"We're going to be working with the Shie Hissaikai." Tomura announces, poised, with hands in his coat pockets. "We made a deal with them, for our cooperation, they want Toga, Twice and Stardust to work with them instead."
"You want us to work with the Hassaikai?" Twice repeated, shocked and surprised.
"Yeah, why do I have to keep repeating it?" replied Tomura. "Their plan has some serious potential. So from today on, Toga, Twice and Stardust, will be Yakuza members."
"I don't find this joke humorous.... that's hilarious, Shigaraki!"
"They wanted Kurogiri too, but I held out, he's got his own job to do right now, so there's no way I can spare him. He's too important. There's an underground route you can take. Star will show you..."
"What are you thinking with this crap? Stop pretending everything is cool, why are you letting this beaked face loser give you orders?" Twice contested, flailing his arms. "He killed big sis Mag, and he took Compress's arm. Did you just forget? And it's all my fault, I brought him to meet with you. I may be a Villain, but I'm human too." he cries, both hands over his face. "We all are, man! Come on, Toga. Don't you agree with me? Star?"
Miya pulled herself upright. "I don't like it either, but in return for having me, he's going to enhance my Quirk."
"Are you fucking stupid?" Dabi spat from across the room. "You're one of the big players. How do you know he's not going to erase your Quirk altogether? You're being reckless."
