Up in the vast mountains of Niigata stood an abandoned construction site with a small on-site building sitting at the bottom of a small cliff tucked into the surface of the rock wall. Mounds of overgrown dirt lay strewn across the site, humps of bricks, and a rusting excavator. The building was a small two-story shed and an L-shaped stairway on the outside that led up to the second floor.

Dabi and Miya came to the sliding door stained with dirt, and Dabi pushed it open. Inside was the League of Villains, and the place was in disarray. The ceiling was collapsing, and the lights were even threatening to fall down at any moment. The floor was pilled with dirt and rubble and what was left of the furniture, well, there wasn't much left.

"You're all just kicking back?" Dabi asked, stepping inside and Miya followed in, sliding the door closed behind her. She looked tired. Toga jumped up from the chair she was sitting hunched in shifting through a box of junk, and threw open her arms with a toothy smile.

"Star! I'm so happy you're back!" she threw herself into Miya's arms, and she groaned.

Dabi rolled his eyes. "I guess we're the only ones pounding the pavement looking for recruits." he remarks.

"Yeah, too bad you roast everyone you see." replied Twice. "And you haven't brought in any fresh blood!"

"They were all worthless..." Dabi murmured a reply. "Just trash living out day by day with no real ambitions."

"Maybe you're just bad at judging people." Toga says to him.

"You, of all people, don't get to say that."

"No, Toga's right." Miya defended the young school girl. Dabi shot her a glance and she shrugged with a smug smile on her lips. Miya stepped through the rubbish and dirt on the floor picking up an old chair and sitting it upright on its four legs, and sat over the box of junk where Twice was sitting cross-legged and looking through it. Miya sighed in relief to finally be able to rest her feet after a day of walking.

Toga crouched beside Twice and she showed Miya a pretty necklace, to which Miya snarled her lip.

"It's ugly. Sell it." she tells Toga.

"No, it's so pretty!"

"Where did you even get that?" Miya slouched over her knees, resting her elbows on the round purple knee pads. Toga and Twice went on to explain how they stole it from a bunch of religious fanatics whom they killed. Miya wasn't impressed. "Why do we have no money left, huh? Where did all my hard work go?"

"Food. Support items, equipment." Compress began to list. "My prosthetic arm. Places to sleep, bribing people, and so on and so forth."

Miya blinked. "So what, you all just spent what money we had without thinking, even though we had a big conversation about this?" She looked around the small room, and no one gave a reply. She sighed.

Tomura, who was sitting on the sofa, feet stretched out on the coffee table, who was munching on a biscuit, said. "It's been about a month since they captured Kurogiri, right?"

Miya crossed her arms. "Yeah, what of it?"

"He failed, so that's that. No luck finding the Doctor either." In Tomura's hand was the red case with the Quirk destroying drugs.

Toga gave Twice the necklace to clip around her neck. "Kurogiri was your babysitter, so you must miss him a lot, Tomura." Toga was admiring her new necklace, while Twice was concentrating as hard as he could to get the clasp. "So what's so important about this doctor anyway?"

Miya finally shooed Twice away, and she clasped the necklace closed, and smiled at Toga. "So pretty." she straightened out the necklace and Toga was in awe. She's never had anything this pretty or girly before. The most Miya had was her nose piercings and earrings. Dabi noticed the deprived way she was looking at the young school girl and he got an idea for later.
