THE UNWANTED (COMPLETED)

5-The School (Becket University)

   Kinabukasan, nagising ako ng tumunog ang alarm ko. Nakatulog pala ako. Hindi na kami nakapag-usap ni Nick. Mayroong pa namang mamayang gabi at susunod na araw.

I immediately did my morning routine. Then, bumaba na ako para magbreakfast, with them. We're only completed during breakfast. It's our house rule. Kasali ako kasi I'm still living under Dad's roof.

Naabutan kong sina Dad, Tita and ang kambal kong kuya palang ang ang na'ndoon. Ngumiti ako at binati sila.

"Good morning everyone!" Only tita Espe gave attention to me. Sanay na ko.

"Good morning Nath!" Maganda ang ngiti ni tita, always naman. Dumiretso ako sa kanya at hinalikan siya sa pisngi. Nagngitian ulit kami at umupo na ako. We waited Nick and Kuya Mac to finally start our breakfast.

"How's the game yesterday Nath?" Si tita. Masuyo siyang nakangiti sa akin. Masyadong totoo, kaya siguro nagustohan siya ni Dad. I'm happy for the both of them, it's true. Siya lang at si Nick ang kumakausap sa akin dito tuwing nasa hapagkainan kami, ang iba kasi ay dedma lang. Kung hindi kasi nila ako kakausapin magmumukha akong outcast. Tanggap ko naman but still, it's still painful.

"As expected, BU bring the championship title for the nth time Tita!" Masaya kong kwento sa kanya. Naalala ko tuloy si Harper.

'Makikita ko na naman ulit siya mamaya, or not baka pahinga sila today.' Gusto ko sanang sumimangot pero baka magtaka si Tita at magtanong.

"Really??" Masaya niya ring turan. "It's good to know, BU is really good when it comes to sports!"

Papuri niya sa BU, we're all in BU. Kuya Marcus and Kuya Marco graduated Magna Cum Laude and Suma Cum Laude with their degree, Business Administration. While Kuya Mac is in his last year with his degree, Business Marketing, he's running a Suma Cum Laude too. I, is in my 2nd year of Business Administration too, I'm a President's Lister. Nicholas is in his 2nd year high school, in BU High School Department. He's top 1 in his batch and top 3 in high school department.

It's an Esguerra legacy. Business Administration is not my first choice, I want to study Law, I want to be an Attorney but I have no choice like I said earlier, Business runs in our bloods, a family legacy. I can't choose what I want, I can't decide for my own. I told you I am a criminal, a prisoner.

"Hi, everyone!"

Mataas ang energy na bati ni Nicholas. Magkasunod lang sila ni Kuya Mac, nauuna siya. Bawat madaanan niya tinatapik niya ang balikat, at binabati ng Good morning, paikot siya sa amin. Nang dumating kay Tita ay humalik siya sa pisngi at sunod sa akin.

"Good morning nag-iisa kong ate na maganda." Napangiti ako sa kanya.

"Good morning, baby."  Then, umupo na siya sa tabi ko. Pinagigitnaan namin siya ni Tita.

"Let's eat!" Turan niya na parang siya ang haligi ng tahanan. "Oh wait, let's pray first and I will lead the prayer." Presinta niya.

We signed of the cross, and close our eyes as we waited him to continue.

"Lord God, Good Morning po!" Napangiti ako dahil sa sinabi niya, 'Silly'. "Thank you in advance for all the blessings that you'll give us this whole day, thank you for the delicious food infront of us, and thank you because we're still alive and kicking. Thank you po! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen." Pumalakpak pa siya. "Okay, Let's eat!"

Napangiti ulit ako. 'Kulit talaga.' We ate quietly, we only hear the sound of utensils and Nicholas, yummy sounds.
