14-The Lost

   Tulala lang ako rito sa isang tabi. Looking at nowhere.'Why does it need to be my nephew?' Logan and Lily are out of my sight. I should be entertaining Lily and tell her the story behind of this incident but I can't. I'm also lost. Logan will accompany her. I can trust Lily to him.

"Mary!" Suddenly, Logan catches my attention. I never gave him a side glanced but he know that I'm listening. He held my hand tightly. Lily blocked my vision when she passes. She sitted next to me too, holding my right hand too.

"Mary!" Lily. "Are you hungry? Do you want water?" I can hear Tita Espe voice to her. That's what she said when I was still lying on my bed. Comforting but I can't just calmed. My mind is in haywire. My heart is aching. My system is malfunctioning.

"Mary, You should know the reason of her miscarriaged!" Logan, bringing me to life again.

"Then, spill it now." Malamig at walang buhay kong saad. The coldness are now surrounding the whole room. Embracing us. Killing me.

"It's my fault." Logan's voice echoed to my ear. "If only I didn't bring her to me. She'll never be seen. She'll never be run with her life. She'll never be hide somewhere. She'll never be fell in the stairs." Guiltiness is all over his voice. I wanted to get mad at him. If he really don't brought Catherine with him, it will never happened but blaming him now is useless. In the first place, he accommodated Catherine. I'm the one who requested a favor.

"It's over now." My cold voice is everywhere. "The only thing that we needed to think now is, her reactions when she woke up. Losing love one is like having a suicide too. Pain can changed the person, Pain can do more reckless actions, Pain can kill." I closed my eyes as my tears raced again.

'Yeah, pain can changed a person and it's killing me, always.' Catherine is a very gentle and soft woman. She doesn't deserve this, she can't survived this, she's so weak and I'm guilty, if only I contacted her this past few days she'll never get bored and she'll never insisted to come with Logan.

Ang sakit lang. I wanted to shout this pain but Lily is beside me.

It's already 7 pm in the evening. Ipinahatid ko na si Lily sa kanila. Logan purchased us a food.

Di ko kayang umuwi. Di ko kayang makita ang mga tao sa bahay. Di ko maisip na sila ang dahilan ng pagkawala ng pamangkin ko. If only Dad didn't summoned his Guards to find her. If only Kuya Marco didn't trashed her. I hope Kuya Brandon will be okay.

I don't want to go home, I know Dad is so furious now but I needed to go home. The door opened and Logan's perfume tickled my nostrils.

"Here, let's eat. You should eat. You need energy. You sure, you don't want me to accompany you?" Paniniguro niya sa desisyon kong umuwing mag-isa.

"Yes, thank you Logan. I can do this. I'm sure Kuya Brandon is already in hell right now. I can't brought you with me. I don't want you to be in hell with me because I know you always wanted to be in heaven." My last words are a double meaning. He got it. He laugh a bit. I glanced at him with a mocked smile on my lips.

"I guess, you'll be okay." The smirked on his lips says so, too. "Just don't forget to call me if you need an escape again. You know I can exchange anything when it comes to you, Mary. I'm always open arms when you need a rest. You know I can also give you a better future. Just come with me and I'll assure you. Heaven is gonna be your salvation and Hell is just gonna be a dust of the past." I also made a noise. A faked annoyed voice but I wanted to laugh. He even kissed my right hand.
