23-The Real Condition

   "I'm going to call, Doctor Silva." The girl who silently cried, rushed outside.

The room filled with silence. They are like afraid to talk. One wrong words can kill them. That's how I can feel the atmosphere. It's heavy.

"Logan, Harper told me that you went to our school! Did you get my exam?" My mood changed into childish again. I felt excited again. My smile is wide. It's like ear to ear. Logan's staring at me. Suddenly, my vision became cleared. My mouth and eyes became 'O'. I'm shocked seeing Logan. He's uh ugly. I momentarily put my right hand to my rounded lip. My soft laughter roared around the corner. Logan's poker faced.

"You're so ugly, Logan hahaha!" My laughs faded when the door suddenly opened again.

'Are they disable to knock?' I pouted. A man wearing a formal suit, came in with the unfamiliar girl who silently cried earlier. The man go straight to my side. The others give him way. I stared at him. He get a flashlight from his chest pocket and lighted it. He touch my eyelid and checked my eyeballs. I closed my eyes.

"Let me checked your eyes, Miss Esguerra."

'Esguerra? Am I  an Esguerra?'

"No!" I put my hand infront of me protecting myself from him.

"Logan help me, please! He's going to hurt me! Please Logan! Kuya Marcus will shouted at me again, please!!" I sitted and don't mind the tingling pain inside of my head. I just want to be inside of Logan's arm. I rounded my arm to his waist. I'm shivering.

"Please! please! I'm scared!"

"Shhh, I'm here. He's not going to hurt you. Hes not Marcus. He's a Doctor. He's only going to checked you." I calmed down a bit. I lifted my head to peeped. I stared at Logan's faced who's bending over his head to me.

"Really?" He's understanding eyes and smile calmed me again. He nodded. I pouted. I glanced at the man. "You're not going to hurt me? You are not Kuya Marcus? You are only gonna checked me?" My questions made him smile a bit. He nodded too. I became at ease. I slowly let go Logan's waist.

"Yes, I'm Lenard Silva. I'm a Doctor. I'm not your Kuya and as you can see I'm going to checked your eyes."

"But, my vision is cleared now. I can already see Logan's ugly faced." I heard gasps, the Doctor automatically closed his mouth. Logan's stiffened. My smile is ear to ear again. I glanced at Logan who's staring at me blankly and turned back to Doctor Silva. He gently smiled to me again.

"Let me checked it again, for assurance purposes." I pouted and nodded. He run a different check ups to me and asked me questions. I'm sitting comfortably at my bed.

"Do you feel headache?"

"It's passes everytime I moved my head big. It's tingling. Like a nail being hammered into my skull." The Doctor faced became serious. He nodded again.

"How about your body?"

"Uhmm!" I glanced at the ceiling. I put my right hand under my chin. Thinking. "Earlier" I happily answered. "When I woke up, I feel like half of my body is numb."

"Your vision?" He's serious voice brought a chills to my spine but I let it pass. I pouted.

"My vision is okay now but I think it blurred after I wake up for about uhmm..." I mimic my posed of thinking again. Tapping my fingers to my face. "Ahah! For about 10 minutes I think."

He nodded again. I became puzzled when he stop asking. He's writing. I roamed my eyes. I caught them staring at me with a worried, scared, blank, cloudy and stress eyes. I pouted again. I brought my eyes to Doctor Silva again.
