LUKE'S
I actually can't believe I did that. Well, at first alam kong ganoon na ang magiging reaction niya, who wouldn't. Sino ba namang mag-aakala that I'll go to her house and even wait for her to come home. Malayong mangyari sa akin ang ganoon. That is the very first time, I actually did that and really freaks me out whenever I remember it.
I know na masasaktan siya when I said that Kiefer going out with somebody else in the party instead of her. I feel bad about myself, I can't actually think na masasabi ko yon just for her to say yes.
I maybe play dirty, but all I want is a chance. I really, really want her, and if this is the only way I can have her, then so be it.
I was in deep thought when my suddenly someone tap my shoulder. "Hey handsome." I look back and saw a woman---almost wearing nothing. I smirked with the thought. I used to like my women wearing nothing, it's just that, I prefer them naked. But when Gabriella came to the picture, things escalated quickly. It's if kanina lang I prefer experienced women and now, it' s the other way around. "You alone?" Nang-aakit niyang tanong. "Shut up Julia. What are you doing here anyway? Baka hanapin ka nanaman ng boyfriend mo." Nang-uuyan kong saad sa kanya. "Like I care! Hayaan mo siya. I actually worried about you, ni hindi mo man lang ako pinansin nung pumasok ka dito, it's like you're not in yourself, what's bothering you anyway?" Mahabang litanya niya, while taking a sip to her drink. I sighed hard and smile at her. "Oh. Come. On Luke, wag kang bitter. Sabihin mo na. Babae nanaman ba?" Prenteng niyang saad. "Hey, don't be like that! You're making it sound like I always end up in a failed relationship or something." Mapanuyang wika ko. Habang humihingi sa bartender for another shot. "Huh, bakit may iba pa bang rason? You always end up to be the second choice. Ganoon na lang ba ang gusto mong maging destiny mo. To always be the seond best?" May halong pang-uuyam sa tono ng pananalita niya. Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi niya.
All my life I've been the shadow sa lahat ng bagay pagdating kay Kiefer--him being the eldest, takes all the rights to everything. Siya palagi ang inuuna, siya ang mas nakakalamang. Dad didn't say anything. Pero ako, ginawa ko lahat ng gusto niya. Hindi ko siya binigyan ng sakit ng ulo like Kiefer do pero wala lang yon kay dad. Ganoon ako kay dad---wala lang. Basta pagdating kay Kiefer I'm always the second best. That's why I'n not gonna let him win Gabriella.
"Hey! Are you with me?!" Naputol ang pag-iisip ko sa pagsigaw niya. "Geez woman, ang ingay mo!" Balik sigaw ko. "Paanong hindi kita sisigawan, wala ka nanaman sa sarili mo. Kaya ka lageng nauunahan eh." The words she said hit me.
"You know sometimes, you just have to cross the line, for you to be happy." Makahulugang wika niya. I automatically look her, it's as if something is not right with the way she said it. Naguguluhan akong napatingin sa kanya ng bigla siyang napahagulgol sa harap ko. "H-hey, are you ok?" Nag-aalalang tanong ko. "Gago ka! Tingin mo ok ako, I'm crying here, you fucking asshole!" Nakasigaw na sabi niya, that catches the attention ng lahat ng nasa paligid namin. "Bwisit ka talaga! Napaka-insensitive mo! Kaya ka walang matinong love life eh." Nagngangangawang sita niya sa akin. Why do I get the feeling that she's pertaining to someone else? Napalinga-linga ako, and there I saw her so-called boyfriend sa 'di kalayuan, looking at her.
"Shhh, h-hey tama na, nandyan na si Raymond, baka gulpihin ako 'non pag naabutan kang umiiyak." Pag-aalo ko. "Ikaw ang tumigil Luke, tama ng pagiging tanga! Tama ng pagiging martyr! Gago ka, naturingang kaibigan kita pero tanga ka, gago ka pa!" Sabay halakhak. Napapailing na lamang ako sa mga sinasabi niya. Kahit kailan talaga, pasmado bunganga ng isang 'to.
I looked at Raymond and he seemed so pissed for some reason---maybe he doesn't like the idea, that I'm this close to Julian. That guy is a lunatic, he's so mad at me whenever I'm with Julian. Possessive asshole---I grinned with that thought. I snaked my arms around Julian's waists and I felt her stiffend. She's trying so hard to get away from my grip, but I held her even tighter. "What the hell Luke?!" Nagtatanong ang mga matang napatingin sa akin. She's pushing me away and all I could do is laugh. "Shhh! J-just play along ok, I'm sure you'll thank me aftet this." I said. I move closer and intertwine our hands. "What the fuck are you doing Luke?!" Mahina ngunit madiing wika niya. I move even closer and clasped our hands together, I can feel her body trembling and I just shrugged off the feeling. I was about you kiss her when someone grabbed me by the hand and hit me in the face.
I fell of meet face to face with the floor. "What the---Luke!" Julian shouted. "Shit! Stop it---oh gosh Ray stop it you fucking asshole!" Sigaw ng sigaw si Julian. Naagaw namin ang atensyon ng halos lahat ng nasa bar because of what happened. "You. Shut up!" Sigaw pabalik ni Raymond, things escalated quickly, all I know is that kanina lang nakahandusay ako sa sahig, but this time, Julian helped me get up. "Gagi ka! Tumayo ka. Lumaban ka gago!" Sigaw niya sa akin. "You're Luke Jacob Dela Rosa---a fucking Dela Rosa, gago ka! Don't let anyone treat you like this. Lumaban ka gago!" Her words keep on playing in my mind.
Suddenly I remember Gabriella, the way she smile, the way she talks to me. And reality hit me.
I'm so fucked up. I'm so fucking inlove---so inlove with her---so deeply inlove. And I will do anything---everything for her to love me back. Even if it means getting rid of Kiefer. I will never give her up without putting up a fucking fight!
