"Bakit ang tagal naman? I---I mean, anong gagawin mo don?" Tanong ko, while I make my way to the pantry to make us something to eat. Narinig ko naman napabuntong hininga siya then lay himself on the couch. "I have some important to discuss about the company sa mga investors, and then, to check na din also the company's current state. Bago pa lang kasi ang naitayong building doon, and dad's too busy sa iba pang branches na kailangang pagtuunan ng pansin. So Luke and I are the ones fit for the job." He explained ang sighed heavily. "Hmm, but don't worry, I'll call you every time I'm availanle , of course. I wouldn't stand my girlfriend to get mad at me." Dagdag pa niya. I know, he's just trying to smoothen up the situation. "Sus, ikaw pa?! If I know, laman ka na lang ng bar palage doon." I said quite irritated, pakiramdam ko may kung anong matalim na tumusok sa kaliwang paste ng dibdib ko. "Why? Magseselos ka ba, kapag ginawa ko 'yon?" He said as if challenging me. He then sat up and look at me straight into the eyes. "Why do I get the feeling na lalandi ka lang doon?" Pang-uuyam ko sa kanya. "And why do I get the feeling that someone's jealous? Is that even possible? I thought, that's not your thing? Hindi pa kita nakitang nagselos." He said mocking me. Ugh! I hate this! There's this weird grin plastered on his face na akala mo'y nanalo sa lotto. "Trust me, you don't want me nagging you out, hindi ka matutuwa. I'm the worst when it comes to that idea." I said sabay kindat sa kanya. "Mmm, that, I love to see." Balik kindat niya. "Umayos ka Dela Rosa, baka sapakin kita ng wala sa oras." I looked at him brow furrowed. "I love you. Promise I won't do anything stupid. I already have you sweethreart, bakit pa ako maghahanap ng iba?" He said smiling saka inilahad ang isang kamay sa akin, inviting me to sit beside him, and I obliged. I rested my head on his shoulder and smell his scent. "Mamimis mo ako 'no?" He said teasing me. "If I said yes, would that change your mind?" Tanong ko. I was just teasing him. Gusto ko lang marinig ang magiging sagot niya.
He kissed my forehead and sighed heavily. The next thing he said literally lose all my sense. And I was literally dumbfounded upon hearing him. "I will, change my mind. If, on if, you.will.marry.me." He said out loud with a hint of smile on his face.
