------------

I was confused when I saw a man being hauled off in a police car, Mummy and Daddy lying on the floor, not moving. I walked back to my room looking for something and stayed there. It wasn't until I heard voices that I didn't recognise, that I emerged from my room and walked downstairs. I walked into the living room to see two people. One wearing a red waistcoat and trousers, with a blue tie, who had 'spikes' coming out of his head and a girl with long orangey-red hair with a yellow coloured suit jacket and skirt, with purple tights.

"Apollo! We've got nothing! What are we going to do?!"

"I don't know, Athena. All the evidence points to our client. We'll just have to try to point out contradictions in the testimonies." It was then that I emerged from behind the sofa.

"Hey, Apollo! It's a little kid! Hey there, I'm Athena! What's your name?!" I shrunk back, not used to the loud noise. 'Athena' was then nudged by who I guessed was Apollo, "Calm down! She's just a child," he then approached me, "Hey, there. And who might you be?"

"(Y-(Y/n)."

"Do you know what happened here?" I just tilted my head in confusion.

"Apollo, she's a child, she's not going to understand what happened! She's younger than I was w-when..." Miss Athena trailed off, starting to shake a bit. I walked up to her, despite not knowing her too well, and hugged her, "You okay?" I asked, looking up at her. She snapped out of her daze and bent down so she was roughly eye-level with me, "I'm okay, (Y/n). Just remembered something that happened in the past, that's all."

"Okay, I-I wouldn't want you to be sad about anything," I replied smiling, "I-is there anything I could do to help?"

The two of them looked at each other, "No, it's fine, (Y/n). We should be fine."

"Are you sure? Because I heard you saying earlier that you didn't have anything. Are you sure there's nothing I can do to help?"

Mr Apollo bent down and put a hand on my shoulder, "(Y/n), it's fine. You don't need to worry about us. It's just that where this is going, is not really a place for a child."

"Apollo isn't a mu-" Mr Apollo quickly stood up and put a hand on Miss Athena's mouth, "Shh, as you said before, she's just a child. It's better that she stays innocent about this."

Miss Athena rolled her eyes and leaned into Mr Apollo's ear whispering something. Mr Apollo nodded as she moved away, "You're right." The two then turned back to me and Mr Apollo spoke, "(Y/n), how would you like to come with us? It's better you don't stay here and it seems that you'll need someone to look after you." I nodded, "Okay."

-----------------(3rd Day of Trial)

"Um, Mr Apollo."

"(Y/n)?! What are you doing here?!" I looked down at my feet, "I'm sorry, Mr Apollo. I can leave if you want me to."

"Mr Justice, the trial is going to restart in five minutes!"

"Well, it's too late to take her back to the agency now, she'll just have to stay here, Apollo."
