"Are you sure about this, Polly?"
"(Y/n), I'm gonna have to have dinner with your family at some point, so may as well get it over with right?"
"Y-yeah, I guess," I replied through the closed door of the room. I opened it to see Apollo standing on the other side waiting in his suit. However, there was one thing that was bothering me, "Polly, for your own safety, and mine, leave the badge at home."
"But I want to show it off," He replied, wrapping his arms around me. I giggled and wrapped mine around his neck before pecking his lips, "I know you do, Pol, but seriously, my family don't take too well to defence attorneys. I don't want you getting hurt."
"Okay, for you, (Y/n)," he responded taking his badge off and walking into our room to put it on his bedside table. He walked back out of the room and kissed my cheek. I smiled and we walked downstairs and out the house, off to see my father and sister.
-----------------
"So, how did you meet my daughter, Mr Justice?"
I froze up knowing that we'd met in a trial I was prosecuting and Apollo was the lead defence on the case. Apollo eventually spoke up after freezing himself, "It was in co-" Before he could finish I stepped on his foot from under the table as a sign not to tell the truth. However, before Apollo could amend his answer, I spoke up, "It was when I was walking home one day. Someone knocked me over in the street and Apollo stopped me from being run over by a car."
"Well, Mr Justice, I must thank you for saving my daughter's life."
"I-It was nothing really. It was what anyone would have done." I smiled and placed a hand on his thigh as a 'well done for going along with my lie'.

"-We're expecting."
I almost choked on the mouthful of (F/f) that was in my mouth at what Apollo had said. My father and sister turned to me, "Oh really? (Y/n), get out."
"W-what?" I asked looking up at him.
"I said: GET OUT! You're not even married and with a defence attorney no less!" I stood up, "WHY?! You had no problem when Fran told you she was dating Maya, who might I add, is ANOTHER GIRL!" I shouted back before dashing out of the house without my shoes on.
-------------
"(Y/n), I-I'm so sorry, I didn't know your father would kick you out. I-I just thought you hadn't told them because I thought you didn't know how to break it to them."
"P-Polly, it's not your fault. I-I shouldn't have l-let it happen in the first place. T-then I wouldn't be in this situation right now."
"No, this is my fault, (Y/n). I'm the one that got you pregnant so it's my responsibility."
I smiled through my tears and snuggled into him on our bed where we were both sitting, me leaning on his shoulder and sobbing.
"(Y/n)?"
I looked up to see my sister, "Fran? What are you doing here?"
"I came to see how you were doing. Just remember, I'll always be here for you (Y/n). You're my sister and I don't care who you decide to date, whether the guy, or girl, is a prosecutor, defence attorney, detective, judge, or something completely unrelated to the law. You're my sister and I love you."
I smiled and stood up, hugging her, "T-Thank you. T-this is one point where I need my big sister." She returned the hug, "Shh, calm, (Y/n). It's okay. If you need anything for you or the baby, I will be happy to help."
"Thank you, Fran. I'm glad you didn't want to throw me out as Father did."
---------------
"You did it, (Y/n)."
"I wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't for you, Polly. Would you like to hold her?" He nodded and I handed Melissa to him, "And look, she has your spikes."
