I originally had another idea for this, but I liked this one better so... The reader is also Phoenix's older sister, by a year
-----------------
I was sitting in my office reading over a recent case I had just had when I heard a knock at the door. I put the file in one of my desk drawers, "Come in." The door opened to reveal Trucy, who ran up to me once I'd stood up, "Aunty (Y/n)!" I giggled slightly and returned the hug, "Hello to you too, Trucy." It was then that I realised that Phoenix had come in as well as Apollo and Athena.
"Hey, (Y/n)."
I looked up at him, "Hi, Nick. Apollo, Athena."
"Hey, (Y/n)!" Athena shouted, running up and hugging me.
"Miss Wright."
"Apollo, you don't need to be so formal," I spoke, "You're making me feel old."
"Sorry, it's a force of habit, (Y/n)."
"It's okay. Now, why are you all here?" I responded.
"We got bored at the Agency so, we thought we'd pay you a visit!"
"Really?
Okay, what's the real reason?"
This time, Trucy spoke up, "Daddy wants to speak to you about something!" At this, I looked up at Phoenix, "What did you want to talk about?" He looked to me before turning to Apollo and Athena, "Take Trucy back to the Agency for me." The two of them nodded and walked out, Trucy giving m a final quick hug before following them out. Once we were alone and the door was closed, Phoenix turned to me, "So, (Y/n). Got a boyfriend yet?"
Now, if I had something in my hand, I would have dropped it, "Phoenix, if I had a boyfriend, you'd be the first to know, trust me."
He sighed, "Do you at least have a crush?"
I finally broke, "God, you're immature. Even if I did, I wouldn't tell you anyway because you'd just go and tell them. I know what you're like, Nick." However, the truth was, I did have a crush: On Nick's friend. I didn't admit it though because I knew he wouldn't approve of it, "Come on, Nick. I'm busy now. Out!" I finally managed to get him to leave and I collapsed onto my chair. I soon started pacing around my office, thinking to myself. A few minutes later, I heard a voice speak up, "So, (Y/n). Why are you pacing?"
I jumped at the voice and turned to the door, "Franziska! How long have you been there?!"
"Long enough to know you have a crush," she smirked. I felt my face flush red and I noticed Franziska chuckling. This got me annoyed and I collapsed onto my chair, "God, you're worse than my brother."
She eventually managed to get it out of me with her pestering, "Okay, fine! You're going to hate me for it though. It's Edgeworth."
It was that point when I heard another knock on my door, "Come in!" The door opened to reveal the one person, I didn't expect; Edgeworth himself. Franziska burst out laughing before she calmed herself down and walked out of my office. I turned back to Edgeworth, "D-did you hear that?" I asked my face bright red, starting to ramble about the whole situation. This rambling only ceased when I felt his hand on my cheek. My blush increased tenfold when he kissed me. I was shocked originally but I eventually melted into it, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around his neck.
------------
A few years later, on both mine and Miles's day off, we decided to visit Nick to tell something. The minute we arrived at the agency, I was knocked to the ground by Trucy, "Aunty (Y/n)! Uncle Miles!"
"Hello, Trucy," I giggled at her enthusiasm.
"Good morning, Trucy. Would you mind getting off of your aunt?" Miles replied. Trucy looked up at him before getting off of me, "Sorry."
I stood up and patted her on the head, "It's okay, Trucy. Just be careful next time, okay?" She nodded and hugged me gently. She then ran off and came back a few minutes later dragging Phoenix by his hand behind her. I giggled at this and walked over to the sofa, sitting down.
"Good to see you too, (Y/n)."
"Oh, shut it, Nick. I'm not in the-" I cut myself off by falling asleep.
EDGEWORTH'S POV
"Edgeworth?"
"Yes, Wright?"
"What happened to (Y/n)? She's usually all bubbly and happy."
I sighed and turned to him, "Let's just say that these past few months, (Y/n) has been really tired, she's had morning sickness and she's had cravings for weird foods." Even after this, he still looked incredibly confused. I facepalmed before muttering to myself, "How do you manage to win trials, yet outside the courtroom, your brain is that of a five-year-old's?" Thankfully, the agency isn't full of idiots. Mr Justice (If Edgeworth would call Apollo something else, please tell me what it would be. (ie if there is something from one of the games (Specifically either Turnabout for Tomorrow or Turnabout Revolution)) tapped Wright on the shoulder and spoke up, "Mr Wright, I think Mr Edgeworth's trying to tell you you're going to be an uncle in a few months."
"What?"
"Mr Wright. I mean, that (Y/n) is pregnant and Mr Edgeworth is trying to tell you that."
Wright turned to me and I nodded at him. His smile increased and it was this point when (Y/n) woke up.
YOUR POV
I woke up a few minutes later and stood up, walking up to Miles and leaning my head on his shoulder, sighing contently. He leaned down and pecked my cheek before whispering in my ear, "I knew your brother wasn't the smartest but I didn't know he was dumber than a whale." I giggled in reply and pecked his cheek, "Does that mean you told him?"
"He eventually got it into his head. After Mr Justice was blunt with him. I tried dropping hints, but he's an idiot. Note to self; next time I need to tell Wright something, be as blunt as possible." I gigged again, "Well, that's Nick for you."
