"(Y/n)! Why do you keep disappearing like three times a week? I, as your girlfriend, need to see you at times too!"

I pecked his cheek, "I know you want to see me, Apollo, but this is important. I need to practice."

"Practice for what?"

"Seriously Apollo? (Y/n) obviously means for the big tennis competition that's coming up, right, (Y/n)?" I turned to Athena, "You're right. Polly, please get off of me! I need to go and practice."

"Can I come with you then?" he asked, grabbing onto me as I tried to walk out of the agency. I rolled my eyes, "What's got you so clingy today, Polly?"

"I just want to spend time with you, (Y/n)." I giggled and pecked his forehead, "Come on then, let's get going."

----------------

"You'll be fine (Y/n). You've made it to the final, no matter what, I'm proud of you." I smiled and hugged him, "Thank you, Apollo. I feel slightly less nervous now."

"You go this," he replied pecking my forehead. I smiled and hugged him, making my way to the court, him going to his seat with Trucy, Mr Wright and Athena. They'd come to cheer me on as I'd, somehow, managed to make it to the final of a big tennis competition. I was incredibly nervous as it now meant I'd be going up against the world female number 1 tennis player. Making my chances of winning very slim. However, I'd still try my best no matter what! As my mum had always taught me, 'It's not the winning that counts, it's the taking part.'

-------------------

It was now partway through the match and one all with sets, meaning whoever won the next set would win the match and the competition. The score for the set was currently 5 games to 4 in my favour somehow and in the current game, I was on match point. Meaning that if I won the next point, I'd win the match. I was 40-30 up with, returning. I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the serve. The ball was hit over the net and I hit it back. It landed right on the line, meaning it was a hard shot for my opponent to return. I was so confused at what had happened, Did I just win? My suspicion was proven correct when "(Y/n) (L/n) has just defeated the world number 1 and won the competition!" I was shocked at this as I never expected it to happen. I was snapped from my daze when I heard a voice shouting, "Woo! Go (Y/n)!" I knew immediately it was Athena, being able to recognise her voice anywhere. I was presented with the trophy before I had my winning interview.

"So, (Y/n), how do feel right now? You've just beaten the world number 1 to the trophy. How does it make you feel?"

"Honestly, I'm still in shock. I genuinely believe I'll wake up tomorrow morning and it'll be the day of the match again. Making this all a dream. This is a dream come true. I never thought I'd ever get to the quarterfinals, let alone the final, so I'm still amazed," I replied, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Do you have anything else to say to anyone? Like a special thanks to anyone in particular?"

I nodded, "Thank you to all my friends who have given me the confidence I needed to come into this match, especially Athena and, Apollo I have a question for you," I took a deep breath and removed the necklace from my neck, well it wasn't really a necklace, more a chain with a ring hoop attached to the end of it. I placed the chain in my pocket, "Apollo, I-I love you so so much and I know for a fact that I wouldn't be standing here right now if it wasn't for your help. I know this is pretty unconventional, but, will you do the honour of marrying me?" I looked up to where he and the rest of the agency were sitting to see Athena pushing him and muttering something to him. Within a minute, I was embraced in a hug, "Of course I will, (Y/n)! I love you too! So much!"
