With the case closed and Edgeworth free, Maya pestered us to celebrate. This led to what we were doing right now: Sitting in the office on the sofas, playing Maya's version of 'Never Have I Ever', which was just her asking the other three of us questions.
"Maya, how much longer are we going to be doing this for?"
"Why, are you bored, Nick?" she asked, "I have another idea if you are...."
"I dread to think what that is Maya," I spoke up, also bored.
"If you're going to be like that, (Y/n). I have an idea." She dug into the ribbon holding her kimono together (Yk, like she does in the anime version of Farewell, My Turnabout when she's kidnapped), "Bingo!" she exclaimed, pulling a box of something out of her pocket. She smirked.
"Miss Fey, what are you smirking at?"
"Just something," she replied, still smirking, "(Y/n), Edgeworth! Pocky Game!" I was pissed, to say the least, "Maya....... What did we talk about earlier?!"
"Oh you mean about you needing to con-" I slapped my hand over her mouth, "Shut it, right now. Or I will not be defending you the next time you get arrested."
"Fine."
I then turned to Edgeworth, "You don't have to if you don't want to."
"No, we should play by the rules, (Y/n). Miss Fey."
Maya smirked wider and got one of the pocky sticks out of the box handing it to me, giggling the whole time. I took it from her and placed one end in my mouth, Edgeworth taking the other side in his mouth. We both nibbled at it and I was going to break off when we got closer to the middle but I felt his hand on the back of my neck, making it so I was unable to move. Does he actually want to- My thoughts were cut off when he kissed me. My eyes widened but it didn't stop me from kissing him. However, I realised 5 seconds too later that Maya and Phoenix were still there and I broke away from Miles, my face bright red to see both of them put their phones back in their pockets. I glared at both of them, You better start running before I'm found guilty of murder. They both got the message from my glare and dashed out of the office. I sighed and rubbed my temples, Miles' voice bringing my back to my senses, "(Y/n), would you like to be my girlfriend?" I nodded, "I'd love to be your girlfriend, Miles. I love you."
"I love you too, (Y/n)."
