So, this randomly came to me... I don't know why but Oneshots keep coming to me at the oddest of times. Ps I am getting to the requests. Set after Dual Destinies but before Spirit of Justice.
Warnings: Swearing
-----------------------------------
Stupid Miles. Why do I have to babysit Blackquill?! He's been freed of all changes now. He doesn't need a babysitter! These, along with many others of the same variety, were the thoughts that were running through my head on my walk from the Prosecutor's Office to the courthouse.
I finally managed to get to the courthouse, undetected and pouty.
"Ahh, Edgeworth-Dono, you decided to show up."
"Shut the fuck up, Blackquill. I don't have time for this. I have my own case to deal with. Does my brother care though? No, he doesn't," I replied pissed off and pouting.
"Right, well, why are you here? If you don't mind me asking."
"Miles. That's all that needs to be said. His specific words to me were, this isn't my wording! '(Y/n), I still don't trust Blackquill. I want you to make sure he doesn't try and send Taka on anyone.' Trust me! Those were his exact words."
"Hmph. Wasn't it your brother who wanted Wright-Dono's help to get me free?"
I felt my face slightly heat up, "Yeah. He was. But I don't know why he still doesn't trust you. I mean I do!"
Miles, you bloody git. You better not be trying anything!
----------------Time skip to the start of the trial
"Is the defence ready?"
"The defence is ready, Your Honour."
"Is the prosecution rea-Why do we have two prosecutors?!"
I sighed heavily and decided to answer, "About that, Your Honour. Apparently I'm on babysitting duty today, rather than the trial I'm actually supposed to be prosecuting," I spoke rubbing my forehead from the amount of sweat that had accumulated there. I then noticed Wright smirking. I hate you so much right now.
"Something wrong, (Y/n)?"
"Nothing is wrong, Wright. Shut it or the next time I face you, I will NOT take it easy," I growled.
"Do you really want me to shut up though? Because if I do, then you'll never-" he didn't finish the sentence due to me running over to the defence bench and slapping a hand over his mouth, "Shut it. Right now, or it will be your ass in jail rather than the defendant's that you're defending. Got it?!"
He nodded and I released him, walking back over to join Blackquill. I will kick your ass, Wright. You can count on it.
-------------------------
The trial eventually ended and I was so pissed off by the end of it. After growling at Wright for the majority of it, meaning that nothing really happened... He was teasing me Just like a child. And I kept growling at him. I walked out of the courtroom to see Wright talking to Blackquill, Athena and Trucy, sniggering behind him.
I smirked and ran up to them, jumping on Wright's back, "This is for being a pest!" before tickling him.
"(Y/n)! What are you doing?! Get off me!"
"No! As I said before, this is for being a pest during the trial!"
"Daddy, what is she talking about?"
I noticed Wright smirk again, "Just that (Y/n) has a crush on a certain Pro-" I slapped a hand over his mouth again, "Shut it. I won't say anything worse because Trucy's here but you catch my drift, right?!"
"Okay. I'm sorry!"
"Good, Wright. Now get out of my sight!"
He smirked again and walked off, Trucy and Athena following him. I mentally growled again I hate you so much, Wright. I then felt a hand on my shoulder, "What's Wright-Dono talking about?"
"W-What do you mean, Blackquill?"
"What did he mean when you had 'crush on a certain Pro-' he was going to say someone, who is it?"
"W-Why do you want to know?!" I asked, my face heating up.
"(Y/n). Your brother had an ulterior motive for asking Wright-Dono to help free me, didn't he?"
"N-No!" I squeaked, my face the colour of a tomato.
"Sure. What would you do if did this?" he asked, lifting my chin with a hand. My face went from a tomato to the inside of a watermelon.
"You sure nothing's wrong?" he asked smirking, "You're face is the colour of a watermelon."
"Nothing is wrong!"
"You sure?" he asked. I was going to answer but I was cut off when he pinned me to the nearby wall. If my face could get any redder, it would be at this point.
"B-Blackquill? What are you doing?"
"Something I should have done seven years ago," he replied before kissing me. My eyes widened and I was in complete shock before I slowly melted into it, wrapping my arms around his neck and tangling my fingers in his hair, after taking out his hair tie. I soon felt his arms wrap around my waist. We eventually broke of due to lack of oxygen.
"I... love.. you," I panted catching my breath.
"I.. love.. You.. too."
ATHENA'S POV - A few meters away
"Did you get it, Athena?"
"Yep!"
"Good, Edgeworth will be happy about this."
BACK TO YOUR POV - THE NEXT DAY
"(Y/n), can I speak to you please?"
"Miles, you're my brother. You don't need to ask me."
"Right. So, what happened yesterday?"
"What do you mean?"
"After the trial I mean, (Y/n). What happened with you and Blackquill?" he asked locking my office door. I started to get nervous.
"Nothing!" I squeaked.
"Sure. I don't believe you, (Y/n). Wright gave me a rather interesting photo," he replied handing me a folded up piece of paper. I took the paper and unfolded it. Looking at it I immediately scrunched it up, Wright, I will murder you myself!
"Don't worry, (Y/n). I'm not against this at all. You know, I've been waiting for this to happen."
"This is why I hate being the younger sibling!" I retorted walking to the door and opening it with the key before dashing out. Wright, you are so dead!
