------------------------

"Simon please, I'm not overworking myself and I'm not stressing about anything!"

"I'm just concerned. I don't want you to overwork yourself to the bone, or to damage our child." I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I've told you once and I'll tell you again: I'm not overworking myself, Simon!"

------------------

Literally, an hour later, how did Simon find me? Asleep at my desk, papers and notepads lying on either the desk or had fallen onto the floor.

"You were saying?"

"The tiredness is just because of this devil that you put in me, Simon. I'm not overworking myself!"

"(Y/n), please. Let me take care of something. Please, I'll take care of the wedding you just concentrate on keeping yourself in good health and making sure that our child is safe, and no more cases for the next six months!"

"But, Simon! I have a case this afternoon! I can't just give up on it."

He sighed, "Fine you can finish this one, but after the defendant's verdict has been announced, no more cases."

I smirked, "No promises," before sending him a small wink. This then ended with me pinned against my desk, "It's that attitude that got the baby inside of you in the first place, so if you don't want another one, because you're complaining about this one, then refrain from that attitude, (Y/n)." I smiled and started stroking his cheek, which calmed him down, "I simply can't help it. I'm not allowed to get the exhilaration from trials anymore so I have to get it somehow, and winding you up is the most fun way."

----------------SIMEY'S SIMON'S POV

"Cheif Prosecutor?"

"Prosecutor Blackquill, what can I do for you?"

"I have a request."

He nodded and took off his glasses, looking up from the paper he was looking at before, "Go on."

"I don't really know how to say this in the best way, but can you stop giving (Y/n) so many cases? She's already stressed about the wedding and she won't be able to cope with the number of cases."

"It seems, I still know my sister better than you do, Prosecutor Blackquill," he paused, chuckling a bit, "I didn't assign (Y/n) those cases. She specifically asked me for more herself."

"What?"

He nodded, "There's something you still need to know about (Y/n), Blackquill. If you tell her not to do something, she will actively go out of the way to do it. It's like if you gave her a red button but didn't tell her what it did and just told her not to press it, she would press it, but if it's any help, if she tries to ask me for more, I'll just say to her 'no'. I'm getting worried for her too."

----------------YOUR POV

"Prosecutor, are you able to continue?"

"I'm *yawn* perfectly capable to continue, Your Honour. No need to worry," I replied with a yawn, "I'm just a tad tired."

However, despite my objections, my body betrayed me and I collapsed.

-------------------SIMEY'S POV (props to peeps who get the reference)

"Prosecutor Blackquill?! May I inquire the whereabouts of the prosecutor for this case?"

"Your Baldness, unfortunately, Edgeworth-Dono is currently unable to continue the trial at the moment. She is currently resting in her office as, in typical style for her, she has overworked herself to the bone and trying to continue the trial was the last straw for her brain and body. So I am here in her place."

"You should have thought about that befor-"

"SILENCE! Wright-Dono, you speak too much."

----------------YOUR POV

I woke up sometime later, lying on the sofa that was in my office. However, what I was not expecting was my brother to be pacing the floor muttering to himself.

"Miles?" Upon hearing my voice, he turned to me, "(Y/n)?! You're awake. You had me worried sick! I told you not to take on that trial! I told you I could have put someone else on the case. Listen to me next-"

"Miles, where's Simon?"

He sighed, "At the courthouse. He took over your case after you collapsed. (Y/n) are you feeling alright?"

"I'm perfectly fine, Miles. I guess Simon was right, I did just need a rest."

-----------------

"What did I tell you?"

"What incident do you mean, Simon? You tell me a lot of things," I replied, pecking his cheek.

"About taking a break."

"I took a break, don't worry your little reverse panda head about it," I giggled, patting him on the head, "Love ya, Simey!"

------------END OF ONESHOT

So.... that ending didn't go well. I had this idea for a while, but it wasn't fully fledged before it left the next of my brain... So I hope it satisfies.
