I smiled at Rick's words. He was right. I jumped away from Mom when she readjusted her grip on my hip.
"Rori?" She asked in concern.
"I'm alright," I shook off her concerned looks. Mom's eyes locked onto her hand. She raised it in front of her face.
"You're bleeding," she said. Her eyebrows wrinkled in concern.
"What? Where?" Dad asked, taking a small step towards me.
"Nowhere," I said crossing my arms.
"She got shot in the hip," Michonne told my parents. I glared at her slightly.
"Let me see it," Dad said.
"No. I'm fine," I argued.
"Getting shot in the hip can be very bad. It can lead to many things. And if the bullets still in there we need to get it out," a man with long hair said. I looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"I don't recall asking you," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Baby, just let us look at it," Mom cut in. I sighed and let my father pull up my shirt lightly.
"I think the bullets still in there. It's hard to tell," Dad said after he carefully examined the wound. He gently poked it.
"Ow," I said, shifting my hip away from him.
"Sorry," he said with a sheepish smile.
"Is there an exit wound?" Mom asked.
"I can't tell. It's too dark," Dad said.
"There's nothing we can do about it right. Here, sit down Aurora," Mom said, guiding me to sit on the floor.

"Carl, I know now isn't the best time but I'm ready to talk about it," I said as I leaned against the train cart. The train cart was dark, a little bit of sun seeping through the cracks.
"About the kiss?" Carl asked quietly. I nodded.
"It meant something," I said.
"Yeah, it did," Carl agreed.
"Carl-" I paused to look at him. "I know that we're young, but I like you. I have since the farm." I waited for Carl to answer. He seemed stunned. "I don't want to love in this world. But what would life be without love? Dry and gloomy?"
"I-I like you too," Carl admitted. He leaned over and grabbed my hand. "Rori, will you be my girlfriend?"
"I'd love to." I smiled at the man I think I fell in love with.
"Finally! It took you two long enough," I heard Dad chuckle.
"You're okay with it?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows. I felt my cheeks light on fire.
