The Newsies' Retreat, Wilkes-Barre, PA, around 7:30 pm

POV: Narrator

The Newsies finally pulled up into the very long driveway of their forested property and a sign with a display above that reads "The Newsies' Retreat", leading to the exposed plains where their house sat on top of a hill that overlooked the town of Wilkes-Barre after a delicious dinner at Red Lobster. You could see the house from the town itself as well, and what gave it the "spooky vibe" was how during the evening and night, there was only a single orange mercury light glowing from the hill. However, there was really nothing to fear in the quaint and peaceful retreat. The only time you were scared by its ominous presence is if you were a visitor to the area, clueless of any of its history.

The drive was through a creepy passageway with trees towering over you with it being almost dark. The Newsies paid close attention to the dashboard window as the bright white lights shined through the driveway, looking for something that caught their eye. Suddenly, a large animal slowly crossed a few feet away from the Newsiemobile. "Wow, that looks like a White-Tailed Deer!" Davey exclaimed. Jack honked the horn and the deer ran off into the woods frantically. Finally, they finished the drive and went around the bend to where it opened into a large parcel of grass that led up to the hill where the Newsies' Retreat House stood atop.

They finally made it to the end, passing by all of the garages. The only light there was the interior and exterior of the Newsiemobile lights, the orange mercury light from the wooden post, the white exterior light from the basement door at the house, and a few floodlights that went on automatically. They finally pulled up to the garage where the loft was. They parked on the open pavement since the Newsiemobile was too big to fit inside. "A'RIGHT BOYS! Time to get you'se pillows and blankets! You'se can leave ya stuff here tonight so it's ready in the mornin'." Jack announced once he put the Newsiemobile in Park. The Newsies grabbed their bags from the overhead bins and went to the front door. Jack always left Davey in charge of the Newsies who were at the house since Jack would be sleeping in the Master Suite above the garage. Davey woke up Racetrack so they could go up to the house.

Davey walked up with Racetrack to the wooden veranda using his iPhone's flashlight since all of the outside lights were turned off. Meanwhile, the Newsies were still unloading their bags from the Newsiemobile. "I thought Jack was gonna have sensor lights installed here," Racetrack said. "The guy got scared off by the location of this place and claimed he saw a bear up here," Davey responded. "Stupid wimps." Racetrack said. As soon as they got to the front door, Davey realized he forgot the keys. "Racetrack, we forgot the keys in the Newsiemobile." "Darnit, Barbie!" Racetrack said. "I'll go get them, you wait here with my stuff. Here, you take my phone and light the way for me." Davey was already walking back before Racetrack could say anything else. He squealed quietly in fear as there was nobody but himself around him and Davey's iPhone. Behind him was just the rest of the porch, and it was pitch black. He squirmed at the thought of something coming behind him to attack him, as he could only hear the noises of crickets and owls in the distance. Before he knew it, Davey was already back with the keys, which frightened Racetrack at first until he realized who it was. "What's wrong? Did I scare you?" Davey asked. "Oh, nothin'. Let's just get inside, quickly please..." Racetrack said trying to cover up his fright as much as he could without notice. "Alright, Alright, settle down," Davey said.

They both went inside together and turned on all of the lights, inside and out. Davey signaled all of the Newsies to bring their stuff inside. Davey and Racetrack went to the Vice President's bedroom to unpack their bags. Davey invited Racetrack to sleep with him since there were not enough beds. It was a king-sized bed, so it was large enough for the both of them. Skittery and Kid Blink were the first pair to go inside the house. Once they got to the doors leading to the finished basement where everyone slept, one of Skittery's bags fell down the stairs. "Oh no..." he softly said. Once it reached the bottom, some of his stuff fell out, and they both laughed about it.

Meanwhile, at Jack's suite above the garage, he was settling in and getting his bed ready. He also prepared his jacuzzi for a nice bath. After he was done, he dried off and got into his silky bathrobe, and lay on his bed. At around 8:15, The Newsies all streamed at the same time from four locations: Jack's suite, the basement where the rest of the Newsies were staying, the loft where Sarah and Les were staying, and the Vice President's bedroom where Davey and Racetrack were staying. They streamed their favorite show, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. That way, they could all chat and watch at the same time. They kept watching until they all fell asleep one by one. At 9:00 pm, Racetrack and Davey were still awake, and they ended the stream and were able to keep watching. They both went on Omegle on Davey's 16-inch Macbook Pro and they found some very weird people. "Peaches, is that you?" Racetrack said. "Alright, I think it's time for bed now..." Davey said. They went to bed after seeing Lovely Peaches dancing on Omegle and falling off of her bed.
