Out on the Road, 5:00 am

POV: Narrator

The Newsiemobile rides along the long country road looking down on the field, with the sun peaking over the valley. "Well, what now?" Racetrack said out of boredom. "Racetrack, we're five minutes into the trip! We still got approximately 8 hours and 55 minutes to go!" Davey said in exclamation. "Ugghh!" Racetrack said. "Heya, Race, customwoodburning is liv on TikTok!" Spot said. Yes, "liv." Customwoodburning (Her real name is Barbara) is a strange lady on TikTok who records herself doing wood-burning projects ordered from people and runs a small business. "Lauren Bobco, get off of my screen please. " customwoodburning said. Spot and Racetrack laughed. "Stop with the loopty loo glasses. Who is this?" As the next person joined her Live. There was a black screen and you could hear laughing. "Slumber party, prank call, giggle fest. Who am I speaking to?" she asked. "Hi I'm a big fan." one of the girls said. "Hi big fan, Welcome to my Liv." She kicked them off of the Live. "Exotic_farts, get off of my screen. Fionaapplespu55y this is the 5th time I've had to talk to you today, get off of my liv. Why did I get an email saying I'm in debt of 300,000,000 and 5 toe nails?" She let out a big sigh, then the liv ended.

It's around 6:45 am, and the Newsies are driving on I-83 through historic Harrisburg, also passing by Hershey Park, where they'd visit during the summer. At around 7:30 am, they passed by the Gettysburg monument, where they would go visit after their trip. It's closed because of the pandemic, but they were hopeful by the time their trip was over, it would be reopened. 10 minutes later, they crossed the Pennsylvania border into Maryland. Compared to the rest of the drive down, the travel through Maryland is like a blink of an eye. They stopped at a Circle K near Frederick, Maryland where most of the Newsies went to the bathroom. "Hey Race, do you know where Spot went?" Davey asked. He wanted to show him something. "Out running in the fields, screaming..." "Thanks, very helpful."

Jack saw a man recording the cashier and the manager. "Could you please contact the store's owner, Kevin Sweeney." The manager then said "I don't care who you call, I don't care what you do," and she kept interrupting what the man was trying to say with "Bye cluRR!" A few minutes later, they were back on the road again. They passed by Baltimore and Washington D.C., before crossing the border into Virginia on the Potomac River at around 8:45. "Alright fellas, we're in Virginia now!" Davey announced. Everyone groaned because of how long the drive through Virginia was. "Hey, at least we're closer!" "I'll just go sleep, I'se tired anyways." Racetrack said. "You do that, Race." Davey responded.

They were fortunate enough to pass by Quantico, VA where the show "Criminal Minds" headquarters are. When they pass by Fredericksburg, there is also a place called "Spotsylvania." Ironically, Spot jokes that they named it after him while including "Pennsylvania." "Heya guys, it's my hometown!" He said. "We know, Spot." Davey said, continuing to read his book. At around 10:30 am, they stopped at a Sonic near Petersburg, VA for an early lunch. The Newsies were HANGRY. "Get up, Sleepyhead!" Spot said, kicking Racetrack's feet. "'Ey, stop that!" he said while waking up. When the Sonic Drive-In delivery man rolled up to their window in skates, unfortunately, he could not stop and he crashed into the side of the Newsiemobile. Everyone stared blankly at the worker as the spilled drinks dripped from the driver's window and the worker stood up in embarrasment. "I'll get you your new orders..." he said.

Racetrack had a blue raspberry slushie that made his tongue blue that he kept sticking out at everyone. "Nasty, Race!" Sarah said to Race.
